Part 4: The "Date" (1/2)

**JOSH'S POV**

Last night was great. I felt happy when i was next to Stef all night at diner. We just talked and talked all night long. After we dropped her and her friend off Peck said "So..... Joshie...... I really didn't understand, but why did you defend that girl. I mean you don't even know her?"

"First of all,that 'girl' has a name and its Stephanie. And well I didn't like how her jerk of a boyfriend was yelling at her." I say sternly.

"But I think that there were some feelings other than just concern, considering you invited her and her friend to diner" Chris said while raising his eye brows and smirking at me. "Shut up Chris" I say while trying to punch his arm while driving.

Its been 3 days since I've talked to Stef. I kind of missed her I guess you could say. I couldn't focus on set. We were filming a shooting scene which required ALL of my attention, and I mean ALL of it. But that didn't work out so well because I almost shot an extra's arm, luckily they moved just in time. And I kept zoning out which wasn't good either. Finally, when I got out of work I text Stef right away.

Me: Hey Stef. Wondering if ur free today wanna hang out?? :)

The longest freaking 5 minutes of my life pass. I was so nervous. Was I falling for her? I mean I know I some things about her, but still barely. Who am I kidding. I love Stef, i just didn't want to accept it. I'm not the type to have love at first sight feelings. But she's different and I like that. My phone then FINALLY rings.

Stef: Yea! I'm free right now if u want. 😊

I told her I would be there in 15 and I was gonna take her to town. I quickly throw on some black kahkis and a white polo on and make reservations at an Italian restaurant near by. I hope everything goes well tonight.

I reach her house at 5 and dinner was at 7. Gosh, what are we gonna do for 2 hours? I'll let her decide. I knocked on her door and Stef came out in black shorts, black vans, and a white floral crop top. Yea that's right I do know about lady clothes thanks to my mom. Haha. And her hair. HER HAIR was just as beautiful as it was when I met her. Her eyes widened and I guess she noticed me zone out and she got nervous and started saying "What!? Do I have something on my face? Omg hold on"

I cut her off just as she was gonna run back inside

"No, no, no! Your fine, you just look, wow....... Great."

She blushed. WAIT....... SHE BLUSHED!!!! Does that mean she likes me too??

**Stef's POV**

My day so far has been non productive. All I've done was sit around, watch three movies, and eat a tub of cookie dough ice cream. Good thing it's summer though. I started thinking about the future for some weird reason. Like in September, my senior year starts. Finally the last year in that school that I like to call prison. I'm not so popular, but I'm not a nobody either. Even with that I still don't have many close people in my life, the closest is my best friend, Alli. I don't know how I could have gone through what I have if it weren't for her. She always knows what to say to make me feel better. And then there was Zac. I gave him everything, I loved him, he made me feel safe, but..............

My deep thoughts were interrupted when my phone starts playing the Kim Possible tone, you know the one that rings when Wade calls her. Don't judge me cause that was my show! (haha) Anyways I'm surprised when I see that it's a text from Josh.

Josh: Hey Stef. Wondering if your free wanna hang out? :)

Wow, I thought that he completely forgot about me. Cause he's famous and has an actual life. I wonder why he would want to hang out with me cause I'm not as interesting or fun compared to him. It won't be bad I guess, so I decide to go and say yes.

I run upstairs and get ready. I pick out some high waisted black shorts, a white floral crop top, and my black vans. I put on light pink eyeshadow, black eyeliner, some mascara, and a nude shaded lipstick. I let my hair down in its natural soft curls.

There's a knock on my door so I quickly grab my purse and run to the door. I open it and Josh just stares at me. I get nervous and freak a little. He then tells me that it's nothing and I just look great. He stuttered a little when he said it. I look down as I blush so hard that it looks like I colored my cheeks with Crayola markers. I hope he didn't notice but I think he did. Aww man.

Josh ends up taking me into town. We end up deciding to watch a movie. We watch House at the End of the Street, with Jennifer Lawrence, I forgot that they are co-stars too, that's cool. That movie was the scariest movie ever for me. I'm not good with scary movies, I suddenly turn into a 5 year old when I watch one.

We shared a large popcorn and had separate sodas. It's half way empty already and that's just during the trailers. I hate trailers gosh. In the movie, while eating popcorn we both reached for some at the same time. Out hands touched, but I pulled away quickly and Josh just chuckled.

Throughout the rest of the movie my face was buried in Josh's chest. I was terrified but he just laughed at me a couple of times.

Once the movie was over, Josh asks me "Hey you hungry? Cause I know I am starving. Haha"

"Yea, lets eat some actual food cause all I've eaten today has been ice cream and popcorn. "I say

"Well great, I figured, so I made reservations at a restaurant already. Let's go!!" he says while rubbing his stomach and lucking his lips with a smile. He's so adorable, I love it.

Okay so it's a good length right now, so I'mma split it into 2 parts so I guess u guys gotta wait to see what happens at the diner.
