I sat down next to her then she looked at me with confused eyes,
"Hey," she said clearly trying to make this less awkward.
"So newbie tell me about yourself." I really want to get to know her, she seems like a cool person.
"Well, what do you want to know?"
I looked into her beautiful eyes, "anything."
" 'Kay, My name is Miracle because it's a miracle I'm alive. I'm adopted, I have one brother. My favorite music is indie and I think your cool." She said nudging my shoulder at the last part.
"Most girls would be scared to be within 5 feet of me, why aren't you?" Don't get me wrong I'm happy she's not leaving me, at least not yet.
"Well, when you stare death in the face you tend to be a bit fearless." She looks up at the sky, you can tell she's thinking long and hard about something.
" wha-" I was about to ask what she meant by that but then I got cut off by the bell. She got up and dusted off her butt. After waving goodbye she left me outside by myself. Since I'm the 'Bad Boy' and everyone always runs away from me or tries to quote on quote fix me it's kinda refreshing to see someone who isn't like that besides my friends.
"So.... how was it?" Jake ask wiggling his eyebrows in a suggestive manner.
" How was what?" I take a bite out of a soggy French fry,
" We all saw you go to the back of the school with the new girl, and we ALL know what happens at the back of the school," after he said that I started choking on my fry while Taylor patted my back trying to help me out even though that's not how you do it.
I could tell everyone was staring at us, heck I would too. While still choking on my fry someone's arms came around my stomach and they started giving me the Heimlich. Soon the piece of fry flew out of my mouth and hit Jake in the eye.
"Can't get enough of me huh?"
I turned around to see the most cliche thing ever.
"Miracle?" She gave me her breath taking smile and everyone went back to eating their lunch.
" Oh, so this is the girl you had some fun with." Ugh! Tide is back and at the worst timing imaginable.
"Had... some fun?" She looked at me as if I deleted her Netflix account or something because I swear if looks could kill I'd be 6 feet under.
