Editing Apps

For those who are curious about what I use to edit, I've actually been using many different apps. Some on the laptop and some on my phone. Here are some FREE editing apps that (that I use) for Laptop and Tablet users.

For laptops,

I use pixlr.com. It's an online editor, just search up "pixlr" and it should appear somewhere at the top. It's fairly similar to photoshop so if you're familiar with photoshop, using pixlr probably won't have that much of difference. I've never used photoshop for advance editing so I'm not sure how advanced pixlr is compared to photoshop or if it just has the basic features.

If you want to use a non-internet app however there are some other free editors such as GIMP. I've never tried using GIMP though because I didn't like the layout of the tools and everything and pixlr felt nicer to use.

For my phone,

I use a both Photoshop Mix and Phonto both of which are free from the app store. Photoshop Mix is a simpler version of Photoshop but it doesn't include all the features. there are other Photoshop apps however like Photoshop Express and Photoshop Fix, that will give you the other features (again these are all free), but I mainly just use Photoshop Mix. Photoshop Mix is where I do all the editing but you can't add text on there so I transfer the final image to Phonto where lots of fonts are provided. If you want to get more fonts, the site I use is dafont.com.

That's basically all the editing apps I use, I'm just a beginner at editing so a lot of you are probably better than me at editing but I want to learn how to get good at this since graphic designer is something I want to do in the future. I also might make a separate book similar to this except you can request for backgrounds or edits.

That's all for now.

Bye!
