"I knew it. We shouldn't have gotten our hopes up."

Everyone was distraught at what happened. They didn't know if they can trust or leave Mahiru behind in their memories. Hyde, especially, started to feel some hatred towards him, but he just couldn't find it in him to express that feeling.

"Maybe it would have been better if he had never come at all."

"Guys.."

Hyde turned towards his sister, who was looking out at the window, "What is it?"

"Is it Mahiru?" Lily said from the background. The duster shook, "No. Invaders." Hyde frowned, rushing over to his sister and saw that she was indeed right. "Shit! She's right! And they have the mirror!"

"Warn Kuro! If it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get!" Hugh shouted out proudly. They nodded in understanding. Lily ran off to his brother while Hyde and the others made their way to the front door.

The townspeople approached the castle doors, getting their door buster ready. Tsubaki walked in front of them, raising his sword up high. "Take anything you can find! But remember, the beast is mine!" He cheered, the mob cheering with him. They quickly rammed the stone into the door, doing it a few times.

"Pardon me Kuro."

"So troublesome... Leave me alone."

"But Kuro. The castle is being invaded!" Lily shouted, hearing the mumbled banging of the front door. Kuro kept his back turned, looming himself over the enchanted rose. Of course he saw the invaders coming, all the lit up torches and the stone edge they were carrying. He had no will to go to his siblings and at least warn them, his body still ached since Mahiru left the castle. Lily took noticed in his older brother's state. He could tell how heartbroken he feels, the sadness and despair he emits from himself.

"Kuro. What should we do?"

The lion slightly turned to look at Lily, who was basically pleading him to give him an answer. Kuro turned back towards the window, letting out a tired sigh.

"It's a pain to do anything now... Just let them come.."

The doors were then suddenly busted down. Tsubaki and the townspeople looked around the quiet hall. Desks, chairs, dressers were scattered around. Hyde stood still, when someone grabbed him.

"Now!"

The hall quickly then became a field of chaos. The townspeople fighting their way through all different sort of house antiques. Tsubaki, on the other hand, quietly fled the scene to make his way to where the lion was. He swiftly made his way around the halls, looking through any doors he came across. Making his way to the last door, he quickly opened it and looked around when he saw the one and only beast sitting quietly in front of the window.

"Ah, Brother! I have to say, I never expected you to look like this. It is my first time meeting you." Tsubaki laughed, pointing his sword at Kuro. The lion tiredly looked at the raven haired male, completely unwilling to move or even speak. He let out a low growl, turning away from him. Tsubaki slightly frowned, "Ignoring me? Well have it your way!" In an instant, Tsubaki threw a dagger at him which earned him a loud cry of pain from the lion. He jumped to the lion, shoving him into the window, completely shattering it to pieces. Kuro growled in pain. Not having any time to get up, Tsubaki shoved him further off the balcony. Kuro landed roughly on the roof, slowly sliding down. He used every aching muscle to keep himself from falling.

"Come on Brother! You're being no fun at all!" He said, taking out a small revolver and pointing it at him.

"Stop!"
