Lilliana and I started shopping as soon as we walked into the mall. We went to every store, and bought anything we could afford. Basically we shopped until we dropped, and it was amazing.
We decided to leave the mall since we were there for hours. As we were leaving Lilliana said, "Soooooo tell me about this 'boyfriend' you have. What's his name, Matthew?"
"Yea, well we have been dating for about 2 months now. And we started off as friends, until my 'friend' Britney Smith decided to break up with him. And he asked me out after that," I said quietly.
"You kind of broke girl code, you know. And who the hell are you making friends with girls that have white girl names like 'Britney'?" asked Lilliana. (no offense to any Britneys out there ily lol)
"Shut up," I said while laughing. "Anyways, I'm not friends with her anymore. Her bullshit and drama was draining me, and dragging me down. And I got tired of it."
"Good for you bitch, good for you," said Lilliana, smiling.
She drove out of the mall parking lot, and start blasting music. And thank god we have the same taste because if we didn't, I wouldn't be able to sit in a car with this girl.
Lilliana was driving for about 10 minutes, when suddenly a car sped up, and hit us on the left side of the car. We were then off of the highway, and into a guardrail.
"Holy shit," I said, "Lilliana are you ok?!?!"
"Yea yea, I'm fine. My leg hurts a little but it's fine."
"I need to call an ambulance right now."
As soon as I called an ambulance, I called my mom. And she was worried sick, and angry.
"BECCA ARE YOU ALRIGHT," my mom screamed through the phone.
"Mom, Lilliana and I are fine. We aren't severely hurt, just bruised. We're ok."
"YOU'RE WITH LILLIANA? REBECCA JACQUELINE WOOD, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?"
We talked for a couple minutes after that. And I was given a full on lecture the entire time. She kept asking if I was ok, of course. And I explained to her 20 times that I was and Lilliana was too. We were shaken up, but that was about it.
The ambulance arrived 5 minutes after I talked to my mom. They checked us, and said we were ok, besides the bruises. They also had to bring us home, since Lilliana's car was completely messed up.
As we were in the ambulance so many thoughts kept crossing my mind. I could have died with my best friend today. I could have died.
