Chapter 18 - Bittersweet

I woke up and rolled over to my side. Kookie wasn't with me anymore. I decided it was best to leave the room now before anyone saw me.

I walked out and ran upstairs. "Good morning my sunshine!" Hoseok had a huge smile. "Good morning." I was about to run into my room but he still had something to say. "Why did you sleep in Kookie's room?" "I just didn't want to be alone." Hoseok's expression sadden. "Oh alright I see now who you would pick when you feel alone." Hoseok left before I could explain myself.

Arriving downstairs to eat breakfast everyone was there minus my parents. "Hey (Y/n) our parents left us this note we basically have today for ourselves." Jin had excitement in his voice.

"How about we go shopping here?" Jimin suggested. "I like the idea I promised (Y/n) I would buy her something." Kookie stated proudly. Once we all finished eating Yoongi thought it was a good idea to get anything we needed like cameras.

"Hey (Y/n) can I talk to you?" It was Sabrina. "Alone." She led me into the back of the house. We were standing right near the pool.

"Let's just get this straight you need to back off of Namjoon he's my finance." I felt myself get stabbed in the heart.

Namjoon's going to get married?

"He's my brother." That's all he can be if he's going to get married.

"STEP BROTHER IS DOESN'T MATTER! I see the way he looks at you, I see the way his expression changes when your name is even mentioned." I smiled a little Namjoon really does like me.

"You couldn't possibly like him right?" She was pushing me.

She wanted to push me into the pool I could tell.

"So what if I do?" Her expression changed.

"You're disgusting!" Right after that she lifted up her hand.

She slapped me.

I wasn't going to stand there. I brought my hands to her hair and swung her to face the pool.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING (Y/N)?!" I froze. Namjoon was behind me.

I accidentally let go of Sabrina and she fell into the water. "Namjoonie she attacked me! All I did was ask her if she wanted to hang out with me SHE HATED THE IDEA!" Namjoon reached his hand to get her out with Tae behind me.

"She doesn't like me!" I looked over at Namjoon and our eyes met. "(Y/n) why did you do this?" "BECAUSE SHE SLAPPED ME!"

Namjoon's eyes went wide. "Don't believe her I wouldn't hurt her you know all I want is a little sister." Namjoon looked back me at me with a mad and sadden expression.

"I can't believe you don't like her." You're kidding me.

"LOOK AT MY DAMN CHEEK! I would never expect you out of all people to turn their back on me." I stormed out of the backyard and went back to the living room.

"Jimin, Hoseok, Yoongi, Jin, and Kookie let's go." They didn't ask any questions they just followed me.

"Babe go upstairs and get changed." I gave her a kiss on the cheek and she left. Tae was still here with us.
