It Wasn't Supposed To Be Like This x Taehyung

You sat on the couch and looked at the six faces in front of you.

Your toddler crawling on the floor.

"He looks bigger already" Namjoon said looking down at what was

essentially his nephew. It'd only been a few days, but you supposed

he had grown a bit. 

"How's Nari doing?" Jimin asked, you looked up from your son

on the floor to face your husband's best friend.

"She keeps asking about him, I don't know what to say anymore"

your voice was barely audible, your tongue heavy. If you could cry

you would but you weren't sure if there were any tears even left in you.

"It wasn't supposed to be like this," you said looking to the six boys in front

of you. He was supposed to get better, he left behind his two kids.

"Taehyung knew he didn't have a big chance, we just didn't realize

how little time he had left" Namjoon said coming over to sit near you and hold

you against him. "We waited so long to have kids because it was never the

right time and now he doesn't get to see them grow up. How do I tell my daughter

that her father is never coming home again. How do I live without Taehyung."
