"Hey! (Y/N)~!" A voice called to you.
You turned around to see Shiro running towards you. Eventually, he caught up to you, catching his breath.
"Why are you walking home by yourself? There's dangerous people out here!"
"Oh please. This city seems like a safe place, I even did my own research before I moved here." You explained.
"Yeah, I know. I just wanted an excuse to walk with you. Whoops~"
You sighed, and let him walk with you. You took out your phone to check the time.
1:34 pm.
"(Y/N)-!" Shiro called out to you, but it was too late.
You weren't paying attention and bumped into someone, which made you trip and fall down on the ground. The person that you bumped into had realized that you fell to the ground.
"Excuse me are you- (Y/N)?! Oh my goodness, I'm sorry!"
You recognized the voice, and saw that it was Jin.
"J-Jin? What are you doing here?" You asked, while he helped you up.
Shiro was just standing there looking confused, and didn't know what to say.
"I need to pick up my sister. I always pick her up. Anyways.. You walk home with this guy?" He asked, pointing at Shiro.
"Hey! What do you mean 'this guy'?! You think I'm a bad person or something? Huh?"
"S-Shiro, please calm down-" You said to him.
"I didn't mean it in that way, I apologise. My name is Jin, it's nice to meet you." Jin introduced himself, holding out a hand to Shiro.
"Shiro, nice to meet you.." He said, shaking Jin's hand while looking the other way.
'Looks like they got off to a bad start..'
"Hey, does your sister go to school down this street?" You asked.
You saw an elementary there while you and Shiro were walking, and Jin was walking that direction so his sister might be attending there.
"Oh, yeah. Why do you ask?"
"Maybe Shiro and I can walk with
you! What do you say Shiro?" You turned to him.
"I don't mind.. let's just go."
You raised an eyebrow at him in suspension. He never acted like this before. He was usually cheerful, and goofy. You just let him be.
A few minutes later, the three of you arrived at the elementary.
"I'll be back." Jin said, heading towards the school.
You looked towards Shiro, and he seemed to be thinking about something.
'This is weird.. He's not himself.'
"Um.. Are you okay Shiro? You seem a bit.. off."
"O-Oh, sorry about that, heh-"
Suddenly, a little girl came running towards you and Shiro, interrupting him. While she was running, you can hear her saying something and waving to you and your friend.
"HELLOOOO!!" Said the excited girl, jumping up and down. She was very energetic. She had medium length hair, which was black like her older brother, and had one of her front tooth missing, which seemed cute to you.
"Hello there, may I ask what your name is?" Shiro asked the girl and smiled sweetly.
"My name is Neki! Big brother told me that your name is Shiro, and her name is (Y/N)." She pointed at you.
"Y-Yeah, that's my name! It's nice to meet you Neki." You said to her. You had to admit that she was very adorable, and looked like Jin a bit. You then saw Jin running towards where you were at, with Shiro and Neki.
"Neki..! I told you to wait for me.." He said catching his breath.
"Well I'm sooo sorry! I just wanted to meet your friend and your pretty girlfriend.."
"GIRLFRIEND?!" You, Jin, and Shiro yelled at the same.
"Oh (Y/N)! You never told me you were dating someone!" Shiro acted surprised, but you and Jin knew that he was teasing you guys.
"SHUT UP!" You blushed.
"Y-Yeah Shiro, be quiet.." Jin blushed madly, putting his black hoodie over his head.
"Jeez you two! I'm playing around~" Shiro giggled.
'Well, at least he's back to his normal self..'
"Awee! I thought you two were dating..." Neki said in disappointment.
"No Neki, we aren't. Who told you that?"
"No one! I just figured. It's the way you-"
"Okay! Let's just g-go, okay? We wouldn't want our friends to be late now do we.."
"Okayy! Let's go guys!"
Neki, Jin, and Shiro decided to walk you home first, since you lived the closest. Neki looked at your house and was in awe.
"Woah! I wish I lived in (Y/N)'s house! It's so pretty!"
Jin and Shiro nodded in agreement.
"Thanks. I'll see all of you tomorrow." You waved bye at your friends, and they waved back, especially the energetic girl.
After Shiro separated from the siblings to go to his destination, Neki had to ask her bother a question.
"Hey Jin? I need to ask you something."
"What is it Neki?"
"Do you like (Y/N)? I mean.. I see the way you look into her eyes. And you have a little blush on your face when your with her. You seem very happy and different around her. I've just never seen you like this big brother."
Jin looked at Neki in amazement.
'How did she know.. Damn, she's smart.'
"W-Well, I guess I d-do h-huh? Heh, I-I didn't realize it myself.." Jin said, blushing.
Neki giggled at that. "I knew you did."
Ooooo! Jin has a crush on (Y/N)~ How interesting is that!
