QUICK AUTHORS NOTE: Hey guys so I'm reuploading Chapter 1 because a lot of people were saying there were choppy and missing parts. Hopefully this fixes it. I think it's something happening with Wattpad because I can't see it. If there's still problems please please please let me know. Ok enjoy the story!
Emily's P.O.V.
Ok so here I am. First day. Biggest job of my LIFE. This was really my first big break. I'd managed smaller talent before when I'd done internships but this was a whole other ball game.
I mean, this was IN REAL LIFE. I'd watched the first couple episodes of Boyband and knew the boys - well, knew who they were at least.
I was really excited about it all. But I was also super super nervous. I mean, I was pretty young in the game at 20 yrs old. Some people didn't even get this type of opportunity throughout their whole careers.
I also had no idea how these boys would be. I would've liked to think that they'd all be easy to work with but, realistically, I had no idea.
I walked into the building and into my office.
When, I opened the door the five boys were already sitting before me.
I was surprised. They were...early.
"Oh. Wow. Hello."
They all waved to me.
"You must be Emily Myro." I think it was...Brady said to me.
"Yes. Yes I am. And you boys must be In Real Life."
"In the flesh." said the one I believe was Michael.
"Ok then. Well you boys are punctual so why don't we just jump right into things then." I told them sitting down at my desk. "First, please introduce yourselves so that I can get names in order."
"I'm Brady Tutton."
"Sergio Calderon."
"Michael Conor."
"Drew Ramos."
"And I'm Chance Perez."
"Ok so let's get down to business shall we?" I told them.
"That's it? No, 'Oh, it's nice to me you?' " Chance asked me.
"No no 'nice to meet you' the 'nice to meet you' was implied." I said, mustering a smile up but really, I was clenching my jaw. Guess we already knew who the tough one to break was gonna be.
"Chance shh." I heard Brady whisper to him.
"Anyway, as I was saying, we have some business to take care off. As you all know, I'm going to be your band's manager."
Chance laughed.
"What? What's so funny about that?"
"You're like, what, 20? I thought we'd at least get someone a little more experienced."
"Yeah and I thought I wouldn't have to work with an ass but I guess they let me down too."
"Hey, so that business you were talking about!" Michael said, shooting me a smile to break up the tension.
"Just so you all know, I'm the best in this business you could get. Anyway, moving on. I may be your manager but I'm just a small part of the team. There's four more people I need you to meet." I said scribbling down their names on a piece of paper and handing it to Drew.
Chance went to speak but I cut him off. "After we're done here. No that's not all I have to say. Good try though."
"So basically what you need to know is I'm here to work with you all and help you all. If you need anything, you let me know and I'll do my best. So you are aware, we have an interview and performance coming up in a couple of days. Then, we've got an appearance at the VMAs and that's just the beginning. I predict a holiday single come Christmas time as well as - hopefully - an appearance at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. As for today's schedule, when you get in the car, just hand that paper to the driver and he'll take you all where you need to go to meet them ok? And I'll meet up with you guys at the end of the day."
