Savannah's P.O.V.
We had been working with the boys for a couple days and I was already feeling overwhelmed by everything going on.
I didn't realize how stressful and hard this was going to be. I was in the midst of planning outfits for their first appearances and I was going crazy.
Every time I thought I'd picked out the right thing I'd doubt myself and change it up again.
So that's what I was doing on a Thursday night - sitting in my hotel room, alone, panicking because I had less than 12 hours before I had to dress these boys.
I looked at my clock - 2:00 am. Sounds about right.
Just then, I heard a knock at the door.
I got up and walked over to answer it. It was Michael.
"Hey, I hate to be like this, but can you turn down the music just a little? Why are you even still up you should be sleeping."
"Work never sleeps." I said, running my hands through my hair.
"What do you mean? Emily told us you were all set on our outfits."
"Yeah, well I lied to her....kind of."
"What do you mean kind of?"
"Look Michael, I really appreciate your help but you don't need to worry about this ok? I got it. See you in the morning." I said starting to close the door.
He stopped the door before it shut and walked into my room.
"What are you doing? It's 2 AM."
"Exactly. It's 2 AM. Let's finish these outfits and get to bed.
***The Next Morning***
Emily's P.O.V.
Today was going to be one of the busiest days of my life. We had an interview in the morning, meetings with Hollywood Records and a performance at night.
There was so much to be done.
I was currently in the car waiting for the boys and the rest of the team at the hotel.
I was running over my plans when the boys got in the car.
"Disorganized much?" I heard Chance say to me.
"Bitchy much?" I replied.
"Hey so how bout that interview!" Michael said lifting Savannah's head up before she fell asleep.
I handed them each an itinerary for the day. "We've got an interview this morning at Radio Disney. Then, a meeting at Hollywood Records and a performance tonight."
"And y'all know we still have lots of rehearsing to do." Talia told them and they all groaned.
"You guys will be better off because of it. I'm telling you." Janine told them.
We arrived at Radio Disney and everyone got out of the car. I stopped Savannah at the end.
"Why do you think Chance keeps giving me such a hard time?"
"What?" She asked me, still half asleep last night.
"How much sleep did you get last night?" I asked her.
"Oh plenty." She said yawning. "I am refreshed and ready to go!"
"Sure."
Sergio's P.O.V.
"Choreo again today? I swear if we go on that five mile run again, I'm quitting." Brady said.
"We're sorry. Were we too harsh with the jokes last time?" Drew said patting him on the back.
"Haha very funny. But c'mon, I literally couldn't move my legs this morning."
"It's good for you, remember?" Chance said reiterating what Janine had said.
We all laughed.
Don't get me wrong, we loved the girls but damn did they work us hard. Even harder than Nappytabs if that were even possible.
We walked in and did our interview. Emily was there the whole time to keep an eye on us and I could tell Chance was doing everything in his power not to role his eyes at her.
I honestly didn't understand why he didn't like her. She was one of the best managers I'd ever met. And she was personable too - not stone cold like some of the other managers could be.
There was literally nothing NOT to like about her but I guess Chance had a different opinion.
When we walked out, Savannah rushed over to us.
"Ok boys last touch ups before some photos ok!" She said, attacking us with powder.
I noticed when she got to Michael he was looking at her the whole entire time.
It was so obvious he was into her.
She was hot don't get me wrong. My type? Well, no but I could see why Michael was into her.
After that we were bombarded by Emma and her many flashes.
This picture after that one after this one.
My jaw literally hurt from smiling so much. Not that I'm complaining - cause I'm not - I'm just saying there were a LOT of pictures happening.
Then we were off to prepare for tonight's gig. We were slightly nervous because Janine and Talia had given us choreo that we all weren't quite comfortable with yet.
When we got to the venue, Talia and Janine were already there waiting for us.
"Ok boys, let's go. Get changed. We've got a five mile run in ten minutes."
Well fuck.
We all went back and changed and met them out front.
"No jokes this time." Brady told us.
We all nodded.
"Ok here's the twist. So obviously, endurance is very important if you're gonna be on stage for a long time. So we're gonna run these five miles while singing." Janine told us.
"Wait what?" Drew said in the middle of sipping his water.
"You heard us. On the line let's go, follow us." Talia said.
"Isn't five miles a little much?" I asked Talia.
"Do you wanna succeed?" Talia asked me.
I didn't respond. She was scaring me...
"Well do you???"
"Yes. Yes I do."
"Good then get ready." She said, winking at me.
***an hour later***
Drew's P.O.V.
The only highlight of that run was the last ten seconds when we arrived back to the venue. I was literally gonna die! Who knew they could work us so hard?
After the run, Janine came over to me.
"Good work Drew. Your endurance is pretty impressive."
"Thanks." I told her, giving her a smile.
"Now go get changed. You're gonna kill it tonight." She told me, smiling at me.
Well she was being oddly nice...
And then they called us onstage and we officially had our first performance as a band.
