Chapter 1

"Flight 905 to California is now boarding."

I was nervously looking around the airport. I don't know where flight 905 was. I had sweaty palms and I didn't know where I was going. There was a sign above me with the list of airplanes but I couldn't see it well. I backed up then boom! I tumbled onto the floor. My college books fell to the ground. Not even seeing the person who bump into me I yelled,

"Watch were your going next time idiot!"

He replied,

"Sorry! I didn't see you there."

He quickly helped me pick up my books and we both looked up and met eye to eye. Our faces were a few inches apart. I got admit he was pretty cute. We stood like that for a couple seconds then I finally broke the awkward silence and got up and said,

"It's fine, my fault. I've always been clumsy."

He got up and said,

"Well, here's your books."

He hand me my books and I felt his hand once I reached for my book. I could feel the tension. He then broke the silence and grinned with his perfect white teeth and said,

"Well my name is Jc. What's your name?"

I smiled and said,

"My name is Veronica."

"You have a gorgeous name."

I blushed.

"So, Veronica were you going to?"

"I'm Going to California. I attend college over there. I came to Texas to visit my parents for Spring Break. What about you?"

"I'm going to California too! I live there with my other friends. I also came to visit my parents."

I smiled and said,

"That's cool! Well do you wan-"

"Last call for Flight 905."

Jc then yelled ,

"Oh crap! We better run or we'll miss our flight!"

We both started running to the plane once we got there we were out of breath and we both started laughing at each other. The women took our flight tickets and we sat down. He was across the aisle from me so we were able to talk. We both then sat down. We were out of breath. Jc then said,

"That was fun!"

"Yah it was", I giggled.

We spent the whole flight talking about our life. I had talked about how college was going good for me and what career I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to be an actress or a teacher. He told me how he was in a collab channel on YouTube with his friends called "Our2ndLife". I thought that was cool even though I never heard of it. We really bounded. I felt I known him forever. I told him I felt sleepy so I was going to go to sleep. He smile and said,

"Okay, goodnight beautiful."

I blushed and replied with a smile,

"Goodnight."

Then I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
