Chapter 8

It was finally Monday and I had to go to school. I usually hate Mondays but this time I was kinda happy because it miss all my friends. I walked into class and heard my friend, Liv yell my name.

"VERONICA!!"

"LIV!!", I yell back.

"I haven't seen you in forever Liv!"

"I know right! I missed you."

"I missed you too.", I replied.

"How was your spring break?", she asked.

I looked down to the floor. I didn't want to tell her about Jc.

"It was fine. What about you?", I faked smiled.

"Good!"

Then she told me everything she did during spring break. I actually tinned her out. I know I wanted to not think about Jc but that's all that came up on my mine. His face, his smile, his curly hair, his...everything.

During math I didn't pay attention and day dreamed about the time when me and Jc met at the airport. Then I heard my teacher.

"Hmm, sorry! What?", I asked.

"Can you answer the question on the board?"

"Umm-"

"It's 23", Liv said.

I smiled at her and she smiled back.

After school I went to get Starbucks. I would have invited some of my friends, but I wanted to be alone. I needed time to think. I walked to Starbucks and I saw Jc riding his skateboard. I looked him in the eyes. Once he noticed it was me, I ran. I could hear him running after me. I ran until I lost him. I decided just to go home. I went home and yup Jc was waiting for me on my front porch.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I said angry

"I'm so sorry, just let me explain please!" He said

I looked at him in his eyes. He had hope in his eyes.

"Okay, fine I'll let you explain."

"Okay Veronica. I want to be with you and only you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Please, I was just confused with Jen. But I know now for sure that I want you. Please forgive me." He looked at the floor, "I-I love you." He said

Did he just say he LOVES me! I didn't know what to do. I wasn't sure if I loved him. But deep inside I kinda did.

"Okay Justin. I forgive you... I love you too." I said shyly

He brought me closer to him and grabbed my waist. He kissed me. Then that kiss turn out to be a make out session. I was out of breath and so was he.

"Umm do you want to come in?" I said

"Yes." He smirked

"He carried me in and sat me down on the couch."

I put on a romantic movie on Netflix and cuddled.

"Do you actually love me?" I said

"Yes a lot." He said shyly

I blushed.

"I love you too, a lot." I said
