I got ready and walked back downstairs. I grabbed my jacket and said goodbye to Dad and Dr. Greene. I walked out the door and went straight to Jessica's front door. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. Seconds later I heard the door open and I saw Jessica standing in the front of it. "Nick we don't start school until another hour," she said brushing her hair. "I know but, we have to talk," I said. Her facial expression changed completely after I said that. She invited me inside and lead me to the living room. "Does it have to do with last night," Jessica asked. I nodded my head while still trying to figure out what exactly to say.

So I told her all that Dad told me. About Mom and about her necklace that I wore around my neck. But I still didn't tell her about The Man. I could tell her. I don't want her to help me find this guy so then he can't hurt her. At first she was quiet. She looked as if she was finding out what to say. After a while she opened her mouth to say something. "To be honest with you Nick,I don't know what to say," she said confusingly.

Just then Amy and Mike came walking in and were both shocked to see me. "Nick your up early," Amy said. "Yeah usually we have to go to your house to drag you out of bed," Mike said with a smirk. "Well I have to tell you guys something," I replied. They sat down on the couch and I told them the same thing I told Jessica. "Wow so your mom was a werewolf too," Mike said. I nodded in agreement. "So why weren't you born a werewolf." "It's pretty rare for a baby to be born a werewolf, they usually have to be bitten by their werewolf parent at a specific age if they aren't," I said. "And my mom didn't want me to get bitten because she wanted me to live a normal life. But either way I was bitten."

Jessica got up and went up stairs to continue to get ready. I showed Amy and Mike Mom's necklace and their eyes lit up. "Wow that's so cool," Amy said moving in closer to get a better look. Mike shook his head agreeing with her. Jessica walked back down with a black T-shirt and black jeans on. She grabbed her backpack and we were off to the bus stop.

We got to the bus stop and luckily we got there just as the bus pulled up. We got on and we sat down on the back of the bus. Once the bus was filled, we drove off to school. I looked out the window and I saw houses pass by my eyes. We got to the school and we all got out of the bus. I looked up at the dark sky and saw the grey clouds move around it.

I got to my class and notice two familiar faces standing in the middle of the room.  Rex and Andy were standing in the room staring daggers at me. I threw the looks back at them as I walked by. I sat down and began reading a book until we were able to switch to out 1st period class. Ms. Goodman hasn't gotten to class yet, leaving Rex, Andy and I. I saw as Rex came walking up to me with Andy following as usual.

"Hey Nicky what you reading," he said with a nasty smirk in his face. I ignored him and continued reading. Rex grabbed the book and threw it across the room. "Look at me when I talk to you," he screamed at me. I stood up and looked face to face with him. I wasn't gonna take any crap from this guy. "It's funny people are still talking about that day at lunch when you hit me with that tray. It's pretty easy to hit a cheap shot with a tray but how about you hit me with your hand while I'm looked at you." "What would be the point," I asked. "I and everyone at this school know that you can't do anything. Your just a punk who can't back up what he says. So I suggest you get the hell out my face before we relive what happened that day but, this time there isn't anybody to stop me to beat you to a bloody pulp."

Rex began to laugh. "There it is," he said between his laugh. "The heart of a so called 'warrior.' Well how much will you talk if I beat your face worse than how your Momma made it." My blood boiled in my veins. That was it. That was my breaking point. I threw a hard right hand onto Rex's cheek. I threw another one to Andy and back at Rex. I took Rex down and began threw down more and more punches. Andy grabbed me by my waist and tried pulling me away from Rex. I stood up and pushed Andy onto a desk. He fell back and landed hard onto the desk as he and it crashed down hard on the floor. I turned back to Rex and saw him try to crawl away from my. I grabbed him by his leg and pulled him back. I felt a new anger I never felt before but, I knew what it was. It was my wolf. He had an anger in him and it's coming out through me. He has a taste for blood. We have a taste for blood. I pulled Rex up and slammed him back down on the ground. I could hear teachers coming in but I didn't care. I threw punch after punch until I saw blood running down his nose. More and more the I saw blood gush out his nose and onto my hands but, I kept punching. I felt a pair of hand grab my waist again and I thought it was Andy. I lifted my leg up and kicked the person behind me right in the knee. I heard a man groan in pain and I knew it wasn't Andy. I got up and I saw people in the classroom staring at me with their cameras pointing at me. I looked down on the bloody mess that was Rex and I stepped over his body. A teacher put his hand over my shoulder and I shrugged it off.

I walked through the crowd of students in the room with their cameras pointing at me. I got out of the room and walked down the hallway. I saw Jessica, Mike and Amy standing near their lockers talking to each other. Mike notice me and tapped on Jessica and Amy shoulders. When they both looked around and saw me they both rushed over to me. "What the hell happened to you," Jessica asked. I didn't say anything. I continued walking to the office. They continued to follow behind me asking me the same question but I never responded. We got to the office and the principle was standing there as if he was waiting for me to walk in.

He lead me into his office and told me to sit down in the chair. He sat down at his desk and looked at me with an angering look. "Is there anything you'd like to say," he asked. I didn't respond. If he was looking for an  apology, he wasn't gonna get it from me. I feel no remorse for what I did. Rex and Andy deserve ever last hit that I gave them.

He sighed and rubbed his forehead in frustration. "Listen Nick, there's something you need to know," he said. I looked at him in confusion wondering what he had to say. "Now you may not remember me but I remember you and your mother." My eyes widened think he was lying. "In fact I knew her very well. I'm her brother and your uncle. And I can see that you inherit her little gift that our mom and dad passed down to us." I tried to get this all straight it seems like he was lying but, a small part of me wants to believe him. "I see that anger your wolf has in you. I want to help you control it."

"I don't need help controlling anything," I said. "Especially from you." I walked out of the office and I continued walking down the hallway. I walked into the bathroom and I looked at my self in the mirror. I saw my blue eyes and my daggered teeth staring back at me. I saw blood on my shirt and on my hands. I turned on the facet and wash my hands. I watch as the blood slowly washed away from my claws. After the blood washed away from my hands I took off my shirt and threw it into my backpack. I pulled out my extra shirt I keep in my bag and put it on. I walked out of the bathroom and went to 2nd period.

I don't know what that anger was but, I know I loved it. The bolt of energy I got after each punch. I never want to stop that feeling again. I walked i to the class and everyone looked at me. I heard whispers as I walked over to my seat. I sat down and opened my book. I looked over to my right and saw this boy with glasses staring at me. I growled at him and his stare snapped back to the front of the room.

After 3rd period I went to lunch and I grabbed my food. I sat down at my table and began eating my food like a wild animal. I looked up and saw a couple kids walk by staring at me. "WHAT," I barked at them. They ran away to their tables. Amy, Mike and Jessica got to the table and said nothing. They ate their lunch and they didn't look at me. "So Nick, are you okay," Amy asked breaking the silence. "I'm fine," I replied as I stuffed my face with food. "Dude, no your not, you walked out of a class room with blood on you," Mike said. "I said I'M FINE," I said slamming my hands on the table. "Nick let us help you," Jessica said reaching out to my arm. "I don't need anybody's help," I said swatting her hand away. "Nick Samson, to Principal Howl's office now please, Nick Samson," I heard roaring through the intercom. I sighed as I got up from the table and walked to Principal Howl's office.

When I got there he was sitting at his desk waiting for me to sit down. "Nick, I know you don't want my help with your anger," he began. "That's fine, deal with it your self but your still in trouble from what happened with Rex, so I still have to figure out your consequence." "First off that wasn't my fault, Rex was asking for it," I told him. "He was talking smack about me and Mom, a.k.a your sister." I heard him mutter "that little bastard."

Suddenly a loud thunder sound echoed from outside of the window. I looked out from the window and I saw flashes of lightning coming from the clouds. Just then I heard Principal Howl's phone ringing on his desk. He answered it and started talking to the person on the phone. When he hing up he looked at me with terror in his eyes. "What's wrong," I asked. "There's a storm and we have to stay in the school until it stops," he said. "And it won't stop until tomorrow morning."

I sighed and looked at him as if he was joking. "Great," I thought to myself.
