The next day was just as sunny as the last. I awoke with a bright smile on my face. I felt like nothing could stop me. I decided to text Chandler. I texted hey with a winkey face. About a hour has passed and Chandler still had not texted me back. It was strange because he usually replied within five minutes of the text. I didn't want to be the bothersome girl friend and bug him by texting him a million times. Instead, I opted for making a surprise visit to his house.

I took my time getting ready. I HAD to look perfect. I had noticed that since I became Chandler's girl friend I had been smiling a lot more. Chandler just had that effect on me!

I practically skipped to his house. My walk had a excited bounce to it. I was so happy I thought I would burst out singing right in the middle of the side walk. Now that would be something I would pay to see.

When I got there a horrible sight awaited me. My face changed from happy to sad and angry in the time it would take a dart to hit the dart board. It has to be a illusion. Of course it wasn't.

Right there in front of me on Chandler's front porch, Amber and him sat with their lips interlocked. I sat horrified for a moment. I was too shocked to move. A little sound close to a cry escaped my lips and that was when they finally turned and saw me.

Chandler's eyes got as wide as softballs. He seemed shocked too.

" Um Whitney I didn't expect to see you here." He said tensely.

" I didn't expect to see that horrible sight." I said giving Amber a look that said I am going to murder you later.

Amber was the only one who didn't seem effected by being caught. In fact, she sat there with a smile upon her swollen lips.

" It was not what you think! Amber just wanted somebody to comfort her after you well beat her up. I didn't want to be mean.. so we talked then... then.. she kissed me." He said bewildered.

" Chandler, save it for somebody who actually cares." I said turning and running away. I ran as hard and as fast as I could. My feet pounded against the sidewalk. Tears streamed down my face and they seemed to be never ending. I had never felt this betrayed in my whole entire life.

I ran inside of my house, not bothering with the fact that my hair looked like I had just got struck by lightning. My mom turned and saw me. Her face was full of concern.

" Honey, what is the matter?" She asked.

" Chandler cheated on me." I said in between loud agonizing sobs.

My mom's face held the shape of a giant O. I took that as my cue to run to my room. I locked myself and my room, and to tell the truth I didn't want to ever leave the comfort of my room!
