Nandito na kami sa isang city sa Vietnam na malapit sa bukid nila Marco. Hindi ko inalis ang paningin ko kanina sa side mirror ng kotse. Pero hindi ko nakita si Marco na humahabol. Hindi nya talaga ako sinundan. Siguro nga. Ang laki ng galit nya saakin. Hindi na dapat ako umasa.

WANG WANG WANG

Biglang napaliko ang sasakyan namin dahil sa magmamadaling ambulansya. May naaksidente yata. Bigla akong kinilabutan. Sana walang mangyari sa pamilya ni Marco kasi pag nangyari yun. Di ko kakayanin.

KRIIIIIING KRIIIIIIIING

“Miss Kelly. Telepono po.”

“Salamat Mr. Manuel. Hello. Oh Nanay. Bakit napatawag kayo. Siguro sinusubukan nyo iyang regalo kong cellphone. Ha ano po?! Si Marco? Naaksidente? Ano pong wala na sya…” agad na pumatak ang luha ko..

“Kimchi. Kinuha na saakin si Marco. Di ko na sya makikita pa. Wala na siya. Wala na si Marco ko…”

 

 

Paulit ulit iyon sa tenga ko. Wala na si Marco? Bakit ganun? Iniwan na nya ako. Kami ni Nanay. Kung kailan napagdesisyonan kong ipaglaban sya kay Papa. Yun pala huli na ang lahat. Ito na ba ang wakas? Yung tipong hindi pa ako nag-uumpisa. Huli na pala. Wala na si Marco. Wala.
