A/N WOW LOOK ANOTHER UPDATE THAT DIDNT TAKE TWO MONTH HOLY MACARONI HAVE I GONE CRAZY????
nah im just bored
Also, I use the word "he" a lot on purpose. It makes sense in my head. To all y'all who don't get it, it kinda shows how percy's like, not in his own state. the name Percy describes a character, but right now, Percy's kinda out of it, and he's not himself, so instead of calling him percy, which corresponds to a certain character, i refereeing to him as a pronoun.
Unedited
When his feet lifted off the ground and fell back down again, the world was silent. He could feel something again, feel each breath he took, and each movement he made. He could feel it filling the hollowness inside him that never seemed to let go.
He could feel the dance consume him completely, and he let it.
He could feel himself turning into a piece of art, graceful and with true emotions, left out open and naked for the world to see.
//////////////
The morning was a bleak one. the sky was grey and cloudy, but Percy didn't mind. He preferred it this way, the clouds shielding the sky. His school was up ahead, but he barely registered it. His mind was blissfully blank, and he did nothing as the kids pushed him around. He could, in the back of his mind, feel punches landing on his skin, but his thoughts stayed foggy and unreadable, blurring into a silent sound.
Percy liked these days.
It was a day were he could pretend he was someone else, or that he was someone else. he could act like he was okay for a while, and it kept him sane. It was rare that he was pulled out of these moods, and nobody cared in the slightest anyways.
Sometimes, the school seemed like a way to convince everyone that their town wasn't as mindless as it seemed, and it had a point to it.
Nothing really did anymore though.
Days, weeks, and even years were becoming blurred together. Soon, his life itself would become one big mess, with Percy unable to tell one end from another. The elders in the town said there were some things that could this.
Love, was one of them.
Percy didn't believe in love. He thought it was a way to fool people that they could be okay, that they were cared for, when in reality, it was just a way for selfish people to feel like they were special, or for them to get items that should hold meaning, but were just empty objects, that would soon rot like the nonexistent bond between the two people.
His mother went crazy trying to find a love. He remembered her, in some part of his childhood. She was truly a beauty. She had long black hair, with eyes just like his. She had a smile that was like a sliver of sunshine, although rarely shown. When she was a child, her mother would brush her hair and tell her, every day, that there was somebody waiting for her.
And she believed it.
And as she got older, she wanted it more and more.
Want is a dangerous thing. It can make or beak you.
Nobody wanted her, and she spent her whole life trying to get noticed. One day, a man of her interest, came to her.
She fell under his spell.
They went home together, but in the morning, only he walked out.
Soon, she became responsible of two lives. One inside her, and one on the outside.
And on (I changed Percy's birthday, I'm sorry but he needs to be a Scorpio for this story. Leo's just don't fit this part, no offense meant.Leo's are pretty cool) November 17, 1999, and the century was about to come to an end, as one life ended, two new ones were born.
The Sol Jackson everyone knew came to an end, and a monster was born, alongside Percy Jackson.
Percy sometimes thinks maybe that's why he's such a monster.
But nobody listened to the elders anyways. To everyone, except for select few, they were just a bunch of failures, who went crazy after staying in this town for too long.
Percy respects them. Anyone who has stayed in this town for so long and is still alive has managed more than he probably will. Or maybe he's just as crazy as them
That's probably why he's being beaten up right now, a rock pressed harshly into his lower back.(ahaha thats the achilles spot)
As the thought swims sluggishly across his mind, he opens his eyes, only to see blue.
Wow, had the clouds gone so far away already? He could have sworn it had looked like it was about to rain a mere ten minutes ago. Or maybe it was longer. Percy had lost track of time. He blinked a couple of times, trying to understand where this blue was coming from. It slowly registered that it wasn't the light sky blue, but a darker, more shocking (hehe) type of blue, he one you see when lightning (puns i cant) hits the water.
Then he realized that it was just a pair of eyes.
Jason's eyes.
Percy (see what I mean? Now he's in character again :) ) stared right back at him for a few seconds before slowly standing up, brushing himself off, and walking away, leaving Jason still kneeling behind on the ground, staring at nothing.
A/N Wow That plot did not progress at all.
fcks sake
