No one knows where The Assault started. All we know is it gained much speed in NK, accessing their missiles. After that, many countries were destroyed and take over by the OSMAs. Only a 12 countries are still standing.
France, U.S., Japan, Argentina, Canada, and Australia are the major ones, who have formed a pact to make sure all society doesn't crumble. The other six, such as Iraq, are getting supplies from the Six.
We still no next to nothing about the OSMAs, except for that they have advanced technology. This is why we are weak against them.
