Liam drove me to his house with him holding onto my hand. I couldn't get the kiss off my mind. Our little session. I leaned my head back and closed my eyes.

"Come on," he said, "my tired baby."

"I'm not your baby," I said, "yet..."

He stopped the car and both of us got out. I threw my jacket around myself and Liam opened the door silently. He carried me upstairs and he took me into his bedroom. He closed the door and turned on the lights. He took me into his bathroom and he handed me a pair of sweats and a baggy t-shirt.

"Thank you," I said, "I'm just gonna rinse off...if that's alright."

"Yea," he said, "go ahead."

Liam left and I jumped into the shower quickly and got out. I got dress and I walked out to see Liam.

"I'll go sleep in the guest bedroom," I said.

I walked past him, but he grabbed my wrist and stopped me. My wrist burned from Lance.

"Ow," I said.

He looked at my wrists and let me go. "I'm sorry," he said.

I looked at him. "where do you want me to sleep?"

"With me," he said.

I smiled and he lead me to the bed. He grinned at me and he put my back to his chest. He wrapped an arm around me and he held onto my collar bone. His thumb ran across the bone and he even wrapped a leg around mine.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

I turned off the lights and he held onto me tighter.

"I'm sorry nothing played like you wanted it to," he said.

"It's alright," I said, "It was stupid of me to go to a party."

Liam kissed my cheek and closed his eyes.

"At least I got to hook up with the girl I wanted to hook up with," he said.

I grinned and giggled a little bit. Liam chuckled and kissed my cheek again.

I relaxed every one of my muscles, and Liam kissed my cheek again.

"Good night my love," he said.

He put his head down and both of us fell asleep.

***

I woke up with a soft hand running across my cheek.

I rolled over and curled up against Liam's chest.

"Hi," I moaned in a tired voice.

"Hey," he said with a smile on his face, "did you sleep well?"

"Yea," I said.

There was a knock on the door. Liam got up and ran downstairs.

I heard my mother's voice at the door and I got up. I ran downstairs and saw my mom.

"Mom," I said, "what are you doing here?"

"You said you would check in and you didn't," she said, "so I thought I'd come over to make sure everything is okay...why are you wearing his clothes."

I had to think of the first thing on my mind. "I forgot to pack up clothes for last night so he let me borrow some," I said.

"Ah," she said, "okay. I know how much you forget things. Thank you Liam for keeping her safe."

"No problem," Liam said, "your daughter is my best friend, so I'll do a lot for her and you."

"Sweet boy," my mother said, "how much longer are you guys planning to hang out for this weekend."

"Just one more night," I said, "I'll be back home tomorrow."

"Okay," she said, "be safe honey."

She left and Liam closed the door.

Liam smiled at me and he carried me upstairs again.

We lied in bed all day until night.

"Oh," he said, "I need to show you something."

He handed me a pair of his slippers and I slipped them on. He dragged me outside in the cold and he pulled me to the back where we used to hang out as kids.

"It's still here," I said surprised, "we haven't been in here since we were 11."

Honestly, the bushes were covered nicely.

Liam lit up an old lantern we had out here and he grabbed a blanket. We lied down against some tree branches.

"We haven't been here in forever," I said.

"Look up," he said.

I looked up and I saw a bucket with a string on it.

"Holy shit," I said as I got up, "I can't believe that held up. We used to use this to send things up. You would sit in the tree and pull up the bucket up so we could send up little messages."

He got up and reached into the bucket and pulled out some of the messages.

"Oh my god," he said as he opened one, "even then I flirted with you."

"I know," I said.

He put the messages back into the bucket and leaned against the tree. He looked at me with his hands in his pockets.

"I really like you," he said, "even then I was after you."

"Liam," I said.

This was not the conversation I wanted at the moment. "It's true," he said, "I saw you when we were kids, and I wanted to be your friend, so I did. Once I found out who you really were inside, I fell in love with you."

"You slept with every girl in the school," I said quickly.

"To get you jealous," he said quickly.

"Why are you telling me this," I asked.

"Because," he said, "I love you, and you are all I want."

"Liam," I said.

"I only want you Dakota."

He walked slowly toward me. I backed up at the same speed. I was so nervous about him.

"Liam," I said, "I don't know if this is a good idea. If we go out, then break up, we wont be the friends we used to be."

"I'll love you either way," he said.

He I was backed up against a tree and he continued to walk up to me.

He came in close to me and his lips met mine. Our bodies got pushed together softly.

His hands went to my hips and my arms went around his neck.

I can't say no to his kiss.

A smile cracked on his lips.

The feeling in my stomach was amazing. That free-falling sensation I had before where my stomach twists and drops. My heart was pounding.

His body heat kept me warmed up.

I pulled away after a few more seconds. "Liam," I said, "I don't think you belong with an outcast like me."

"I belong with you," he said as his lips went back to mine.
