It was a dark day. The clouds advanced. Time was running out. I hesitated, but I started home. The black woods surrounded me as I tried my way out. I ran and ran.

As I was much nearer to my house than before, I panted breathlessly. I have experienced something I will never forget.

The morning of that day, I was wearing my brand new orange T-Shirt with blue jeans. In addition, I was wearing my red sneakers. I started my way towards the woods in search of my dog, Millie. "Millie!!" I exclaimed worriedly. I walked around for hours, as the anxiety grew every second.

Then, a flash of a shadow covered me. I turned around. Nothing. Then, again, but the opposite way, the flash reappeared. I turned around again. "Hmmm..." I thought to myself. A few silent moments passed by. "I see you..." a voice echoed through the woods. I shivered. I stayed quiet and was frozen there, my legs just wouldn't move. Then, a breeze blew by, and a hand touched me. I jumped and started to run. I practically started running towards wherever I could go. A beam of moonlight shone the silhouette of a small, empty, and mysterious cottage. Without a second of thought, I started racing towards this bungalow for protection.

When I arrived, I entered it and found myself covered in spider webs. "What a mess." I thought. I accessed a room, which was the owner's main room, and was welcomed with a dead body of a young woman. When I saw this childlike figure, it reminded me of the ghost that touched me. I got closer and examined the face when suddenly, a chill crawled up my hands as I felt as if my soul was being covered by a thin veil. I watched in horror as I fade into an endless abyss.

There I was, standing in the darkness speechless when the ghost appeared in front of me. Even though I was uncertain about the idea, she took me on the journey of her life. Feeling like a flash of seconds, I learned that Lilian, the spirit, committed suicide in the 1700s. She starved herself to death. And where she killed herself was where she was laying. Right there.

Thereafter, I returned to the black hole when I fell off supposedly before a cliff and hit hard my nose to a glassy floor. *Blink -Blink* There I was, standing in front of the corpse. It took me a few minutes to retrain my thought. Goosebumps creeped up my skin all over. I was stunned. I was paralyzed. I was just shocked.

Once I was going to leave, I looked once more at the young, sad child. She had a frown on her face and pretty, but wet eyelashes, she must've cried when she passed away. I turned my back and started out the house. I couldn't believe what I just saw. Everything just seemed like a nightmare.

As I began walking home, I heard weird and frantic howlings. I walked even more faster as I see my house up in the front no more than 100 feet.

When I got home, I went straight to bed. That night, I dreamed of Lilian. Everything that happened that day was replayed in my dream. I woke up with a loud scream. I quickly sat up. "Help, Help!" a cold, tiny familiar voice echoed through the woods. I hurriedly dropped on an outfit.

As I head out, I somehow kept running towards the woods and in the direction of the the same cottage from the day before. When I reached the cottage, I see crowds of people surrounding it, and police cars guarding it, ready to head in the tiny house. Then, when I got closer, Lilian stopped time and life and talked to me. She told me to keep them out, because if they find her dead body, they would burn it, and she would have no place to rest peacefully. I promised her I would help keep out the people.

She started time from where it left off, and I started nudging people away from the building. A lot of the peope didn't budge until I got really mad and pushed them away. The plan worked! People started walking away! Hurray! I saved Lilian! When everyone have left, I entered the building and straight to the owner's bedroom. I looked at Lilian's face and replacing her miserable frown, was a sort of smile.
