Pokemon: A Different Beginning

prologue

It was a stormy night in Kalos. Many people and pokemon stayed in their homes. Many children seem to be asleep since it was late at night.

Except for one....

A little girl with dark brown hair and red eyes was sitting in the dining room, while looking trough the window.

"Sophie? When is Mommy and Daddy coming back?" The little girl asked the older girl who was putting an apple pie they made on the middle of the table.
The older girl, Sophie, turn to look at the window with worry.

"I don't know Yukari...... they usually don't come home this late at night" She replied with worry in her voice.

Knock!

Knock!

Knock!

"Huh? Who could that be?" Sophie asked herself as she walked towards the door. When she opened the door, she was greeted by Professor Juniper who looked at them sadly.

"Aunt Juniper! What are you doing here in this hour?" Sophie asked.

"Sophie, we need to talk. It's about your parents" Professor Juniper sadly. Sophie noded slowly and lets the professor enter. When Juniper entered the house, she was suddenly hugged by Yukari who looked up at her with big red eyes.

"It's good to see you Aunt Juniper! Are you here to wait for Mommy and Daddy too?" She asked happily seeing her aunt. Juniper looked down at her younger niece with a sad smile and patted her head.

"Yukari? I need to talk to your sister in private. Why don't you go play in your room with Stella?" Juniper asked as she kneeled in front of her niece. Yukari eyes sparkled when she heard the familiar name.

"You brought Stella with you?!" She asked excitedly. Juniper noded with a smile and took out a Pokeball from one of her lab coat pocket.

"Eev! Eevee!" The silver Pokemon cried out happily as she was released. The pokemon looked around the room with curiosity until her eyes landed on a certain child.

"Stella!" Yukari cried out happily as the Pokemon jumped into her arms. The red eyed girl noded happily at her aunt and ran upstairs towards her room to play with her friend.

After Yukari went up to her room leaving the teenager and the adult alone, Sophie turn to look at her aunt.

"So, what is it that you want to talk about mom and dad?" She asked.

Juniper took a deep breath and looked at her oldest niece with sadness in her eyes.

"Sophie...." she started. "Your parents are dead"

Yes! Finally! The prologue is done!
Btw, sorry if it's short.

Oh! fyi, I just realise that Yukari name starts with a 'Y' and her main colour is red.
