chapter 2

Quick A/N : I don't know utter SHIT about cars and I'm sitting here looking up like nicer cars? but not sports cars, y'all feel??? 

          Roughly a month later Chloe Bennet was now seated in the passenger seat of her boyfriends white 2017 Ford Explorer as he drove her to the set of Valley Girl for the first rehearsal. 

           "You gonna be okay, babe?" her boyfriend inquired, comfortingly rubbing his hand on her knee while she leaned into the backseat in an attempt to grab her bag and water bottle.

           "Of course, though I would've liked a few more hours of sleep, Austin," she said with a huff and an eye roll in his direction once he waited a beat or two before replying.

           "Right..." he began, taking note of her serious tone, "Well looks like we're here" he finished sheepishly at the mention of his bad habits. 

           As she heaved her bag out of the back seat, swiftly unbuckled her seat belt, and began to reach for the door she took note of the small crowd of kids surrounding the man she had seen almost a month ago.  She sighed and turned to ask Austin if he could drive forward a bit, as she turned she heard the man speak through the cracked window. 

         "Hey come on guys, don't get me in trouble, let the lady through" He said smiling widely at his group admirers and glancing up to wink at her.

          She instantaneously felt the tops of her cheeks heat up as the crowd looked at her expectantly. She quickly leaned over and kissed her boyfriend on the cheek as she threw open the door and greeted the kids with a large, forced, smile and sped through the front gates. 

A/N: anooooother short one:(( I'm pretty sure as I continue I'll be doubling the word count. For example, last chapter was roughly 150 words & this one was alllllmost 300. I plan on updating probably later tonight or today. Thanks so much for reading<3
