Hey, Guys! I wrote this song for the people that have to go through seeing their family member goes off to war, and I hope you like it!! This song was very touching, For me at least, There is two different chorus, and The second Chorus is only used for the last verse. The song's view starts out as the traveler, The one who is viewing the heartbreak of a family splitting, Then by the second verse it goes to the wife, The one who sees's the pain, and The person who has to stay strong, Not only for her children but for herself. The song ends with the Husband coming home, and I know it sometimes doesn't happen like that, but I want everyone to know that if they do die, I know grief sometimes takes its toll, but everyone should remember that they are in a better place. Anyway, On to the song!

*Song Tempo: Tardo (Slow)* * Song Style: Western*

Duet or Solo: Duet

(Verse 1 *Traveler Man*)

1. I was traveling through the cities, and what I saw about broke my heart, There was a Man and His Wife crying, Just before The break of day, But before The man gets on that train, His voice echoes across and I hear him say:

(Chorus 1 Together Traveler Man and Wife)

I'll be home tomorrow When the war is won When the day is done

I'll be home tomorrow When my work is through

Don't cry my love, for when this is all over I'll come back to you

(Verse Two *Wife*)

2. I Cry When My Husband gets on that train, Because I know He loves his country, and Would die, Give up his life, Just so we could see that flag still wave today.

(Chorus 1 Together Traveler Man and Wife)

I'll be home tomorrow When the war is won When the day is done

I'll be home tomorrow When my work is through

Don't cry my love, for when this is all over I'll come back to you

(Verse Three *Wife*)3. A couple years later, I was fixing Dinner for my children, When I suddenly hear a car rumble into the driveway, and I run out the door, Only to find my husband standing there, I cry and Hold him close As I hear him say:

(Special Chorus*Traveler Man*)

I told I'd be home tomorrow, When the Day was done

When the war was won, When my work was through

I told you not to cry, because I'd come running back to you
