Ruby sat in the back row of the melancholy classroom. The walls were made from stone and painted with a creamy-gray beige littered a few posters of oh so inspiring words that no one ever really read. Tapping her pencil lightly waiting for the bell after finishing her test, she lazily stared at the person in front of her. They had long natural chocolate brown curls that had peek-a-boos of blue and turquoise giving it a magical look. Their skin was lightly brushed with the kiss of the summer and marvelously glowed when the fluorescent classroom lights were drowned by the sun coming in through the window, contrasting greatly with Ruby's pale and almost sickly English stature. Their face, when they weren't sitting with their back towards Ruby, was littered with dark freckles that made him look stunning.
Ruby was dazzled by the beautiful boy in front of her, and could never tell him.
