Chapter 14

I woke up to soft breathing a realized that I was laying on Jacks chest. I gently escaped his arms that were wrapped around me. I opened the door for the first time in about 2 weeks. Everything was mayhem. There were stuff thrown into boxes and looked like my mom packing me boxes. I quickly ran down the stairs.
Me: M-Mom what are you doing
She looked over at me and frowned
Mom: We're leaving Lauren..
I stepped back in shock.
Me: N-No please. Mom we can't move again not now.
Mom: Lauren we're not happy here.
I looked at her in hurt.
Me: I-I am..
Mom: What do you mean?! You've been locked in your room for over a week depressed over a boy who broke your heart, when you needed him the most. Dont even tell me you got back together with Him, after everything he did to you. You messed up Lauren
I looked at her in shock.
Me: Oh I messed up?! You married someone that hurt me and you but you still lived with him?! After all these years you finally get rid of him?!
I started to have tears in my eyes.
Me: I tried being there for you. But what did you do for me. All you did was stay in this house and let him do all this to me. I know you would always say sorry to me that this was happening to me. But if you were really sorry. Why didnt you get rid of him a long time ago.
Tears were now streaming my face and she looked at me in hurt.
Mom: I'm so s-sorry I was stupid and I didnt realize how stupid I was back then.
I ran over to her and engulfed her into a hug. I was now crying over her shoulder.
Me: No I'm sorry. If it wasn't for me-
Mom: Dont say that please. All I need you to know is that I love you Lauren.
Me: I love you two.
I let go and walked up to the stairs and opened the door and saw that Jack wasn't there. I then heard my balacony door creak Open. I let out a little laugh.
Me: Nice try Jack. Stop trying to sneak up on me.
