Marinette ran to her studio as fast as she could. She couldn't believe she was going to be late for her first day of dance class. Even after she knew the boy of her dreams would be attending the very same class. She couldn't wait to see if she would get the chance to dance with Adrien. 'He's probably the best dancer in the whole class! Oh, what a dream would it be if we were paired up together for the rest of the season!' She thought as she excitedly ran to the dance studio. The only downside of going to this particular dance studio was that Chloe and her minions would be attending the same one.

Marinette rounded the corner and approached the large building with murals of different dances painted across the walls. It had a large sign in the middle above a double door with the studio name engraved in it. Marinette always thought the name was quite clever. "Step It Up! Academy" was the name she thought suited the studio best. It was quite a competitive studio. Dancers from this studio are more likely to succeed in the "Superiority Finals," The most competitive finals any dancer could ever be in. Judged by only the most brutally honest of judges, it was the most stressful competition Marinette had ever done. That's right, She had competed before. She nearly won, but being the clumsy person she was, under all of that pressure, she fell and broke her ankle in the middle of her routine. But now she was back, better than ever and was determined to bring home the gold.

She entered the dance studio and got to her class room just in time. The second she opened that door her eyes flew across the room and immediately locked in with Adrien's. He smiled and walked up to her to greet her when a witch with blonde hair and blue eyes shoved her to the ground. With her minions (Lila and Sabrina) following behind her, she ran up to Adrien planting a big wet kiss on Adrien's cheek before he had the chance to dodge it.

"Adrikinz! I'm so glad we get to be in the same class! Maybe we'll even be dance partners! Wouldn't that be fun?" Chloe looked into his eyes and fluttered her eyelashes at him in attempt to seduce him.

"I guess-" Adrien removed Chloe's arms from around his neck, and looked away from her.

"-Yay! Sabrina, Lila, help me stretch." She sashayed away, and Adrien helped me up.

"Oh, hehe, t-thanks Adrien."

"No problem Marinette. You know, if we're lucky, we could be Partners." Marinette couldn't believe her ears. Did Adrien, the boy of her dreams, really just tell her he'd be lucky to be her partner?

"Really? Y-You'd want to be my partner?" Adrien widened his eyes, surprised that Marinette would be so surprised that someone actually hoped they would be her partner.

"Of course Marinette! I know you're a good dancer." Marinette was even more surprised that Adrien called her a good dancer.

"You think i-i'm a good dancer? I'm sorry to say this Adrien, but I don't remember ever dancing in front of u...."

"Marinette I don't have to see you dance to know that you're a good dancer! I can feel it!" Marinette was touched. No one had ever said that to her before, let alone Adrien!

"T-Thank you, Adrien! Really!"

"Not a problem Marinette." Their conversation was interrupted when the teacher walked in, and clapped her hands.

"Alright, class! I am Ms. Amélie your dance teacher this season. Time to get started! Let's start our stretches, and then we'll focus on our partners, and who they are going to be." The class did as they were told, and stretched. They then all sat down in their spots given to them and awaited for the teacher to give them their partners. "Now class, as you all know, your other teachers years before would usually choose your new partners each week. But I, however, am trying something new this year. You will all get the chance to choose your own partners to keep for the rest of the season!" Everyone looked around at each other, surprised at the teacher's rule. "Now, get up and find your partners. Make sure they are of the opposite gender, and then once you have found them come and see me. I will write your names down and then you will officially be partners for the season!" Adrien walks towards Marinette, and Marinette walked towards Adrien. Next thing you know, Adrien was pulled to the side.

"Adrihoney! Now we can finally be partners! C'mon, let's go tell Ms. Amélie that we-" Adrien cut her off and stepped away from Chloe.

"Sorry Chlo, but I have someone else I'd prefer to be my partner."

"Excuse me?!?!? Who?!?" Chloe stomped her foot on the ground and watched as Adrien walked to now, a sad Marinette.

"Marinette?" Marinette looked up at Adrien and smiled.

"Yes, Adrien?"

"Would you do me the pleasure of being my partner for the rest of the season?"

"Of course!" Marinette and Adrien walked over to Ms. Amélie and told her their names.

"Wait a minute, Adrikinz, this is a prank right...? RIGHT? You can't possibly want this, Trashy girl to be your partner, do you?" She gave the dirtiest look to Marinette, and pushed her shoulder as she said the word, "Trashy".

"Actually, Yes Chloe, I do. C'mon Marinette, let's go." They walked over to an empty spot on the floor and sat down together.

"Alright, class! Everyone sit with your partners, I have an exciting announcement!" Everyone quickly sat down with their partner's and turned their attention towards the instructor. "Okay, It looks like the judges of the Superiority Finals are changing it up this year as well! Instead of competing alone, you will be competing with a partner! Specifically the partners you are assigned with now!" Adrien and Marinette smiled at each other, and then looked back at their dance teacher. "You will all be choosing 3 songs each, all of the different artists, and choreographing your own dances to go with them. From now on, we will be working on those 3 dances, and I will be writing down the pairs that impress me with their dances the most. It's first to come first serve for songs, so come to me quickly if you know what songs you want! Now go ahead and clean up for the day, and tell me your songs once you've figured them out." Marinette looked at Adrien and smiled.

"I know some AMAZING songs that we can dance to! Unless you have any suggestions that is...?" Adrien tapped his chin in thought and raised a finger.

"I think one of the songs should be more of a slower song. You know, one that will go well with a more emotion filled dance. Like a....love song for example." Marinette's cheeks turned red and she looked down with wide eyes.

"W-what song do you suggest Adrien?"

"Well, "S'il Suffisait D'aimer" by Celine Dion is a good slow song isn't it?"

"That's a really good suggestion Adrien! Good thinking! And for our other two songs, how about.... Zombie by Maitre Gims, and... Maybe we could dance to an English song? That oughta impress the judges!"

"Oh, Yeah! I've been listening to a new song lately. An English song, called Feels by Calvin Harris. I could find a remix version we could dance to?"

"Cool! Let's go tell her our songs, and we can talk about choreography!"

"Alright, let's go!" Adrien and Marinette walked to the teacher and told her their songs. She wrote them down, and luckily no one else had the same songs.

"Alright you two, you're excused. Now, I encourage you two to practice outside of class as well understand?" The instructor smiled at them, motioned to the door.

"Thank you, Ms!" They said as they walked out the doors.

"Wanna go to my house to get started?" Adrien motioned toward his limo for Marinette hoping she'd say she would.

"Sure! Let's go!"
