Chapter 3

I quickly changed into my day school uniform and rushed out the door, my backpack thumping my back. Thump, thump, thump. I nearly tripped on a root sticking out of the ground. From my calculations, at the speed I'm running at, I should be in the city in a few secs, then when I get in the city, I will have to drastically slow down. So, it should take me five minutes to get to school.
- time skip -
I was at Valley, and ran straight up to Katy and Staz. " Hey guys!"
" Hey!" They both replied.
" So Angelina, didya bring the solar eclipse glasses?" Katy asked.
" Yepododal!"I responded as I pulled them outta my backpack.
" So, Staz, do you have any glasses?" I said to him.
" Nawh, my mom didn't have enough time to order a pair." He told us.
" Well your in luck! The school has some extra pairs incase some students didn't have any when they came to school today." Katy explained.
" So a-" I was cut of by Katy.
" Wait, what about your dad?" She asked.
" Remember, I don't have a dad." Staz responded.
" Oooohhhhh, right, your parents got divorced, and you Angelina, don't have any. * gasp * Sorry!" She said.
" I-Its okay." Me and Staz told her at the same time.
- flashback -
" Angelina, you have to run! Go to the school!" I heated my mom say to me.
" B-But-"
" No buts, Angelina, you have to go! You'll be safe there!" My dad said.
Just then, I noticed a small flame sport out from underneath the wood. I could hear the wolfhounds snapping, barking, and scratching at the door. I could hear the hunters yelling to each other. My mom had handed me a wolf's gem. A wolf's gem is a ultra rare stone found only in forests that allows a werewolf to keep its abilities once during a new moon.
" Use this to get away from here." My parents told me.
The door was about to bust.
" Run!" My mom yelled.

The bell rang. " Welph, gotta go to Bible. Bye!" I explained.
" Bye!" They both replied.
And with that, we all went our separate ways.
I went to my locker on the forth floor to get my bible workbook.
I don't know how this happened because there is like, a million lockers in our school and the give you a random number, but my locker number is the same as my birthday. My birthday is Nov. 19 ( 11, 19 ) and my locker number is 1119. Also, Angelina's locker is #1119.
I put in my combo, and opened my locker. It had a small white board, a magnetic note pad, and a bunch of drawings. One drawing, was of a black wolf with blue flames like horns on it's head, and a tail with a blue flame on the end of it. The second one, was of a wolf eye. The third, was a wolf, staring deeply at the moon as if longing for it to be closer. The forth, was a wolf pup with a gray back and a white belly sleeping soundly as snug as a bug in a plain underneath the gentle, caring moon's light.
I grabbed my bible workbook from my locker and started off to bible. When I got to room 406, my bible classroom, I opened the door and walked in. On the way in, I said hi to Mrs. Butler and my classmates. I sat down in my chair and began to hum a song

" Hello class."
" Hello Mrs. Butler." We all relied.
- time skip because no one wants to read a bible lecture. Probably. -
" Hey!" I said to Staz, Emi, Brenden, Mia, and Katy.
" Hey. " the responded.
- Time skip to lunch because no one wants to read a boring lecture and a music lecture -
As I walked over, I noticed someone who I had never met before. He had a gray hoodie with black strains of hair poking out, he had blue Levi's jeans, and black vans. His face was completely shadowed by his hood. The only facial details I could make out was his mouth. He smelled....just like...me. That means he's a, he is a werewolf like me!
" Hey." I said.
" Hey." He replied.
" Oh yea, Angelina, we forgot to introduce you to Revon. He doesn't talk much." Mia informed me.
I just nodded.

Well, time to head home and get ready for night school.
