Lost in The City That Never Sleeps

Chapter 5-

I walked in the home with Cindy. I looked around and all I saw was 2 couches, a t.v., a small kitchen, and 1 room but that was the laundry room. I looked at Cindy. She gave me a weak smile then said,"its not much but at least I have a good view!" Cindy said. Cindy walked to the window started to open the blinds and before she opened it I thought there will be a plain brick wall but I was wrong and she was right. I looked through the window and I saw the deep blue sea and all the skyscrapers all around the big apple! I looked back at Cindy again but this time smiling . Well you see.... One day I had a better better home but all that changed.. The bills got too much to handle. So they kicked me out and took all my stuff with them. That's why I work at Star... I cut her out and said "what about your parents?" Now I wished I didn't ask because out of nowhere tears started rolling down her face like bowling balls... And somehow I knew why. Automatically I gave her a hug. Comforting her I told her" everything is gonna be all right...."
