The Best Friend (Daniel Seavey)

Chapter 1

Y/n POV... I wake up to my alarm and jump out if bed. Today is the day I'm moving to L.A. i can't wait to see Daniel again. I miss him so much. We talk as much as we can but I miss my best friend. It hasn't been the same here without him. I call an uber and while I wait I start to take my bags downstairs. I can't wait to see him. It's been ages. He comes to visit every so often, but it's been a year and a half since I saw him in person. His tour just recently ended and I'm so proud if him. I wait outside and smile excitedly when i see the uber pull into my driveway. This is amazing. Once my bags are loaded into the trunk and I'm in the backseat I debate whether or not to text Daniel. He probably isn't up yet because it's 1am. I'll be in L.A at 8am. 7 hours! Ugh! But it will all be worth it. I bought an apartment near the Why don't we house. Daniel helped me choose it. I let out a sigh and decide to text him anyway,
Me: Hi! I'm on my way to the airport! I can't wait to see you, it's been ages! I miss you
Daniel😛❤: That's great. I miss you too. I wish you were here already.
Me: Me too. I'll see you soon. Your picking me up from the airport right?
Daniel😛❤: of course.
Me:I just got to the airport. I'll text you when I land. I'm so excited. I'll see you soon danny
Daniel😛❤: Ok, I can't wait to see you y/n.
I smile. I miss him more than anything. I miss my partner in crime. Daniel and I have been through so much. I remember when we first met. Flash Back... It was the first day of kindergarten when I met Daniel. I was so excited to start school because it was my firstday of kindergarten. I had just moved here and it was tye middle of the year. Even at such a young age I was excited for what was to come, but also nervous. I walked into class with a smile on my face with my minim mouse backpack when I am greeted by the teacher. I was so happy. She tells me to take a seat at any table so i choose to sit at a table with a boy who was all alone. I was new and wanted to make some friends. And he was all alone. I sat next to him and said happily, "Hi. I'm y/n" he looked up said, "I'm Daniel." From that moment we did everything together. He was the shy boy who became my best and only friend. And I was the new girl who took a chance on him. And we were only 5 years old.. Flash Back Over... i smile at the memory. I have never really had any other friends except for him. And I wouldn't change that for anything. I get tgeoufh security sitting with my carry on bag when they call my gate. I cannot get to L.A fast enough. As I find my seat I smile because I have a window seat. Yay, go me. (7 HOURS LATER) I'm finally in L.A. I'm waiting at the baggage claim when i text Daniel.
Me: I'm at baggage claim. Where are you? I'm so excited!
Daniel:😛❤: I see you. Turn around.
I grab my bags and I see Daniel with his friends and bandmates. I can't believe it. I drop my bags and start running to him. He opens his arms and i fling my arms around his neck and say excitedly, "Danny! Oh My God! I've missed you!" He says, holding me tight, "I've missed you too. It's been so long!" I miss his cheek and step back looking him over. He looks great. Oh my god.  I say to him, "You look great! It's been so long!" He smiles wider, "I know. And you too." He pulls me close again and i laugh and look back, "I have to grab my bags." He nods and reluctantly lets me go. I quickly grab my bags and head over he says with a smile, "You know everyone." I smile and hug them all. I know them all. A while ago when Daniel came to visit i met them. It's been over a year. Daniel drapes his arm across my shoulder as I wheel my bags and says, "I'm so glad you'reliving in L.A." "me too. I missed my partner in crime." He asks, "Do yiu want to come back to our hiuse ir do you want to go to your apartment?" I think fora minute, "can you drop me off at my apartment?" He looks a little disappointed, "sure." I kiss his cheek and day, "I'll text you when I'm done unpacking. I promise." This makes him happy, "Ok!" Jack shoves him and says, "Seriously, you're being clingy." Daniel blushes so I say to jack, "Leave him alone. He isn't being clingy." Words cannot describe how much I've missed him.
