The Best Friend (Daniel Seavey)

Chapter 2

Y/n POV... We get to my apartment and I smile when I walk up with Daniel. Everyone else stayed in the car. I open the door and smile. All my things have been shipped here before hand so basically i just have some clothes to unpack. I take my bag from Daniel's hand and he smiles at me and says, "I'm glad you're finally here." I say back as I hug him, "me too." I take my suitcase and put it in my bedroom and say to Daniel, "What now?" We walk out of my apartment and he says, "Do you want to cometo the why don't we house?" I look at my phone and see it's 12pm. I have to pick up my car. I boughta car online and i have to pick it up. It's a jeep. I love jeeps, I bought it so I wouldn't be without a car here. I ask as we walk to the parking lot, "Can you guys take me to the car dealership near here. I bought a car so i wouldn't be without one and i have to pick it up." He nods, "Sure." On our way to the dealership I glance at daniel. He looks so different. Yeah we facetimed everyday but it's different in person. It's like he changed from cute, to hot in 10 minutes, wow. I gasp and start singing when my favorite song starts playing on the radio. It's one of their songs. Why don't we just, is whatthe songis called. I love it. I start singing along and i feel them staring but i don't care. I nudge Daniel and smile as I sing along. Eventually we all are just singing and being crazy. It's great. Daniel pulls me closer to him causing me to look up, he just smiles wider. Jack who is sitting on my left smirks at us. Daniel and I are best friends. Why can't people just accept that? It's ridiculous. Oh well. The skng ends as we pull up to the car dealership. I hop out along with Daneil and hurry inside to get my car! I can't wait! I love jeeps so much. I have no idea why, I just do. Twenty minutes later I'm beung handed the keys. Daniel asks, "Can I ride with you?" I poke him playfully in the stomach causing him to step back, "Of course. I want to spend some time alone with you Danny. " i get in the drivers side and wait for him to tell the others. I mived out here to be closer to Daniel and just because I felt like moving, I'm 18 so I moved out of my aunts house with the promise of being careful. My parents Died whenI was young and I was raised by my aunt. She is great. She was sad to see me mkbe from New York but she was also happy. Daniel comes back and days happily, as he hops in, "Nice. I can tell why you chose this." I nod and foxus on driving. I say to him while focusing on the road, "Do you want to get some lunch and meet up wjth everyone later? I'm absolutely starving." "Sounds good. I'll text jonah and have him soread the word." Whole he's texting I pull into A small cafe. Daniel says, "We'll just meet them at the house later." I nod and we walk in. It's a cute cafe, and it's not far from my apartment. I may come here again. I order a salad and Daniel orders a sandwich. He says as I'm taking a bite of my salad, "I know we keot in touch and everything but tell me things." I laugh softly as he tilts his head eaiting for my answer, "There isn't really anything to tell. You know everything about me. I'm not the one who went on a world tour." He shakes his head and says, "Tour was great. We had a ton a fun. And our fans are amazing too. We wouldn't be anything really without them. And there has to be something you haven't said. Is there someone your hiding from me?" He's just being an idiot. If I was dating someone, which I'm not, he would be the first lerson I tell. He is literally my best friend. I have one other friend but I'm closer to Daniel. I laugh and smack his arm before answering, "No. Even if i was you would know about it. Obviously." "Good." We are walking out if the cafe when a girl runs up and sayd excitedly, "Oh my god! You're Daniel Seavey from Why don't we! Can i take a picture with you?" I smile to myself as I see daniel light up with joy. His fans mean a lot to him. I ask politely, "Do youwant me to take the picture?" She squeals and hands me her camera. Daniel wraps his arm around her waist and her arms go around his neck. It's so cute. Then I get a picture of him kissing her cheek. Then as he's pulling away she kisses him on the lips. I'm shocked but i get a picture. She hugs me and says, "Thank you so much!" Before running off. I bust out laughing at how bright red he is. I tease him, "How was your first kiss?" He shoves me gently and gets in the passenger seat. "That was not my first kiss. And don't you dare say anything about it. That completely caught me off gaurd." I giggle the whole way to the why don't we house. That was absolutely hilarious. He is still red as a tomato. I shrug and say as i giggle, "Come on, it was hilarious." We pull up to the why don't we house and i gasp. It's beautiful. I get out of my car and Daniel drapes his arm acorss my shoulders and leads me inside. I see Jack snd corbyn watching TV on the couch and I join them. Daniel takes a seat next to me and gives me a warm smile causing me to blush. He has always been able to make me blush. And I hate it because how can i feel that way about my best friend?
