I fell in love with your mind
Your beautiful beautiful mind
Your intelligence baffled and intrigued me
And as I got to know your brain, I fell in love with it even more
I fell in love with your humor and your intelligence and your outgoing personality
You had a way about you that nobody else had
But as I got closer, I got to know a new part of you
Your damaged damaged heart
You have experienced things that no child should have to experience
I found this crippled and corrupt man that was so beautiful it overwhelmed me
I thought maybe I could help him
So there I was, applying bandages to a heart that couldn't be saved by someone else
Only he can use his beautiful mind to fix his shattered heart
