Charlie! I heard the gruff voice of my friend- A hippogriff.
"How come you get to do that?" I asked with a playful frown.
Stop playing around human, we need to go. Rolling my eyes I watched as Cheveyo lowered his body for me to climb on top of him.
I named him Cheveyo he was the one who raised me as soon as my parents passed away. Apparently, he said I am a human. The only one left at that. When the world was wiped off of creatures like us Cheveyo lived at that moment and I guessed my parents were lucky to be saved by him for hundreds of years. Blessed with immortality until my mother gave birth to me and Cheveyo had to take them away to complete me here.
It was stated that humans could no longer live, but the power of two souls intertwining and with Cheveyo's powers I was made.
Cheveyo has protected me all my life, he is my brother, bestfriend, and lastly my protector. Growing up with him taught me a lot of stuff, he also taught me how to fight.
As soon as I was on top of Cheveyo he immediately took off we flew high in the air as I looked at the view. I let out a laugh as I raised both my arms.
Careful human Cheveyo sneered in my head. Once again I rolled my eyes as I held his feathers tightly and tugged it 'till in pained him.
Charlie! He angrily linked while going faster. Too fast I hugged his neck as I repeatedly said sorry he started slowing down and I stuck my tongue out at him knowing he wasn't looking.
We were going to visit this palace that belonged to the humans hundreds of years ago, a palace.
Cheveyo discovered it yesterday when he went hunting.
Hours passed and we finally landed. "Ugh, thank God, now shut up, stop being all grumpy," I stated with a roll of my eyes while getting off him and smacking his wing.
He growled lowly. You're grounded for a week.
"What the hell?! That is so unfair," I grumbled.
No- He was about to continue 'till I cut him off as I heard a whimper from the distance.
"Cheveyo! Did you hear that?" I asked frantically while glancing at him, he said nothing as he stood to his full height.
I kept quiet, trying to locate the sound of whimpering.
Let's go Cheveyo said while going towards the sounds. I followed him closely behind I was scared but I was putting up a brave facade.
"What the hell is that?" I questioned warily while slowly walking towards the bloodied creature on the floor.
Charlotte stay where you are do not get any closer I hear Cheveyo said in a commanding tone. Crossing my arms and letting out a huff, I listened.
Cheveyo stepped closer as he lowered his head and pushed the bloodied creature a bit.
"Help me," The bloodied creature mumbled quietly purple mist coming off it in waves as if it were looking for something alive to stay on.
Cheveyo lowered his head until it was directly on the wound of this... bloodied..thing. I watched in fascination as white mist came out of Cheveyo slowly healing the injured parts.
Cheveyo immediately stood beside me as soon as he was finished as he raised his wing and forced me to lean on his neck almost hiding me since his wing is covering me a bit.
The bloodied creature stood up and bowed down towards Cheveyo.
"I am forever in your debt. I owe you my life," He stated.
