"Herin-ah! Where are you going?" Hina asked Herin.

Herin were currently packing up her clothes. She wants to sleep to their house this night. Why? Because something inside her says that she should sleep there.

"I'm going to my Mom's house. Dad wasn't there. He's currently on Manchester. So there's no one there except mom and our dog, Lily of course." Hina nodded.

"Be safe, okay?"

Creep and weird was the first thing that Herin thought when Hina said that to her. Hina isn't usually like that. I mean she is not the type who always reminding you to stay safe or what.

But Herin just shrugs and let that slide.

It's just nothing right?

Or it is?

"Got to go now, Hina. Send my bid of goodbye to our friends. I'll be back tomorrow, afternoon." Herin said while smiling.

Hina nodded.

Herin was about to exit the dorm but then, she remembered something.

"Hina. Please be safe. Lock the door and don't be fooled by some strangers." She said.

"Yes, of course. We will." Hina said while chuckling.

Herin were currently standing in the front gate of their house. She cleared her throat first before she get the keys on her pocket then unlock their gate. Their house is pretty unusual and weird. The silence can make you deaf unlike the usual.

"Maybe because Dad isn't here." She said to herself.

She's trying to cheer up herself but she can't. She's afraid. Indeed afraid.

Finally, she steps in their house' floor. She miss this. She miss everything in this house. But it seems like everything has change. Her mom was supposed to welcome her but she isn't here. She isn't waiting for Herin. A sticky note catched Herin's attention. It has a messaged plastered on it. Then she read it loudly.

"Go to your kitchen. I have a surpise for you. From- Anonymous again?!"

Herin almost fly just to go in the kitchen immediately. As soon as she got there, Something made her shocked.

"L-lily." Herin said while shaking.

She covered her mouth then cried at loud. She just saw their dog. Lying. Lying with it's own organs and blood.

"W-why d-did they-" She didn't continue to talk because someone cutted her.

"If you want to save your mom. You should play with me." Said by the voice.

It was a voice with a voice changer so she isn't sure if he/she is a boy or a girl.

"W-where are you and where is my m-mom?!" Herin shouted while stuttering.

Herin is a brave girl. But she's too weak when it comes to this situation.

The person behind the voice chuckled.

"Afraid huh? Let's just play first."

Herin hesitates to play but she needs to save her mom. "W-what game?" She said, trying to be brave.

"This is riddles. When you get a wrong answer. We'll punish you You'll know what's the punishment after you lose."

Herin gulped. But then again, the thought of her mom suffering make her say, "Deal."

"I am the black child of a white father, a wingless bird, flying even to the clouds of heaven. I give birth to tears of mourning in pupils that meet me, even though there is no cause for grief, and at once on my birth I am dissolved into air. What am I?"

Herin have no idea what is the answer but she has a gut feel and she needs to take a risk.

It takes a minute when finally Herin answered the riddle.

"Uh- Smoke?" She said, almost asking.

Her heart can't stop the beat. It's thumping.

"Correct." Said by the voice.

She sighed in relief.

"Next is- What is wider than life itself. Longer than forever. So simple it's complicated. Travels but never leaves the spot. Puts others in danger but no one gets hurt. And reaches to worlds unknown?"

Herin immediately answered the riddle with no hesitation. She's confident to her answer now.

"Dream?" Said by Herin.

"Aw sorry. But you are wrong dear. Better luck next time." Said by the voice.

Herin got froze on her spot.

"W-what's the punishment?" She asked.

The voice didn't answer her but a familiar voice suddenly screamed.

"Run, Herin. Run!"

It is her mom. She don't want to run and she wants to save her so she hesitates to run.

"Run, Her-" Her mom got cutted by the scream.

Herin didn't have a thought so she just run and run until everything went black.
