Zayn POV
“Oh my god she was right,” Niall said staring at his computer screen. We were looking up orphanage fires. Niall was looking at on from 1956 it claimed that there were two survivors, and it had a picture of them. Niall was looking at it, and it was Matilda and Connor. The names claimed that it was Beatrice, and Earl. But Connor had a distinctive cut on his neck that I recognised as his scar.
“It can’t be possible,” I said. Almost all of us had found some sort of document with an orphanage burning down and there being only two survivors, Matilda and Connor… If that was even their names.
“Zayn so that means that Matilda and Connor... they ran away because…”
“They can’t be seen on camera. Those kids must have gotten really smart burning down orphanages so that they were never found out. I bet the fact that you two are famous saved you, they most definitely do not want to be publicly announced. Running away was a way to save themselves,” Niall said finishing Perries thought.
“They look so sad… It must be hell never to be able to grow up,” Liam said.
Cop POV
The dog barked repeatedly and took off along with the others. They caught the kids sent.I ran after them with the rest of my team. The dogs turned down an an ally, and began to madly bark at an abandoned building door. I ducked under the caution tape and pushed open the door, letting the barking police dogs in. They rushed into the building and to the back bobbing, and weaving through old, dusty things. I followed the barks and used a flashlight to guide me to the sairs. I ran up them and found the dogs barking at a closed door. I grabbed the leashes of the dogs and opened the door. A member of my team flashed his flashlight into the room…
Perrie POV
“Hello?” Zayn asked into the the phone when he answered it. “I see… Yes… Okay… Thank you, bye.” I gave him a questioning look as he hung up.
“Well?” I asked.
“It was the police station, they found Matilda and Connor, but…”
“But?”
“There is an elderly couple there who claim that the twins are their adopted twins from thirty years ago, Robert and Rose.”
