Blind

It was the examination period,a period of less play and goofing around, I was on my way to class in the evening to join my reading partners a.k.a best friends,Evans and Jax in the class.i went to our usual spot and found them headbent in their books.
Evans raised his head as I approached them
"You are late jade"he said,playfully pushing me
"Good evening to you too "I replied sarcastically
Jax didn't even acknowledge my presence, he has been acting weird towards me lately and wouldn't tell me what the issue is
I decided to ignore him,i brought out my books and started reading
About an hour later,my phone started ringing,i was annoyed  but smiled when I saw who it was
"I knew who ll never have an hour of peace without mr. Perfect ruining it "jax said angrily
"what is your fucking problem Jax "
"my problem is obviously you Jade, ever since u got into this relationship with Mr. Perfect, you've been acting like we don't exist
"Funny, you are the only one who seems to be complaining "I retorted
"I can not even breath an hour without hearing something about your silly mr.perfect,am so Fucking tired of his news
"He has a name Jax, its kayden "I shouted at him
"Do I look like I give a fuck?
"tell me Jax, are you jealous? Nobody asked to remain single   u know
"how can I be in a relationship when the only girl I've ever loved is busy screwing another guy"he shouted and stormed out
"what girl is he talking about "I asked Evans who has been quiet all this while
"Jade, u need to.... "
"tell me the fucking truth Evans"
"you are so blind Jade,you are the only one who doesn't know that Jax has been in love with you since forever,its pretty obvious
I grew still as I was trying to absorb what I just heard,Jax loves me? How? Why? How is that even possible? No
"tell me you are joking evans"
"He really loves....."
"shut up Evans,Jax can't be in love with me.. I see him as nothing more than just a friend"
With that, I gathered my books and left the class
Different thoughts were going through my head,how could have been so blind?how could I have missed all the signs.. Like the way Jax stares at me intensely atimes, or hold my hand a little longer than necessary.. Even the way he gets tensed whenever I or Evans mention Kayden..i was thinking all this while that it was just a best friend thing and he was only being protective of me..
Shit! Things are going to get a lot more awkward between us
