Chapter 4: Date

(Y/N)'s POV:

Tifa: "What are you getting all dressed up for, hm?" I was putting on a nicer button up shirt and some jeans as she asked me. I guess this was a bit more formal than my usual attire.

(Y/N): "I tried to tell you, but you were too busy trying to beat me back into our room. Yang and I have a date."

Tifa: "Oh. Is that so . . ." She was a bit disappointed when I said this.

(Y/N): "Aww. Don't be like that. You can get a chance later if you want." I say jokingly, giving me the exact reaction I thought I would get. 

Tifa (blushing): "H-Huh? A-As if!" I start to laugh at her getting flustered.

Tifa: "Geez, how did you two meet anyways?"

(Y/N): "Hm . . . You could say it was just by chance we found each other when we were kids." I checked the time, seeing that it is nearly time.

(Y/N): "I guess that'll just be a story for another time though because right now I have a date with destiny. I'll let you know how it goes when I get back!" I say as I close the door.

Ruby's POV:

Yang was going through our closet trying to find what she should wear, but she couldn't find the right thing so clothes were being tossed everywhere.

Yang: "How about this dress? Hm . . . no the skirt is too short. What about this? Does this look too revealing?"

Ruby: "Just pick one already, I'm sure he won't mind. Why don't you wear that one with the purple sash." She then proceeded to try that one on.

Ruby: "See? You look absolutely perfect in that."

Yang: "Hmm . . . I don't know. What do you girls think?" She turns to Weiss and Blake for second opinions.

Weiss: "It certainly is a step in the right direction." I guess that is as good of a complement you'll ever get from Weiss in this universe.

Yang: "Blake?"

Blake: "It looks good." She said that pretty unenthusiastically, but she was stuck in her book again.

Yang: "You guys aren't even helping!"

Ruby: "Yang, you shouldn't worry too much. He's just taking you out on a date-"

Yang: "I told you already its not a 'date'. He's just trying to make it up to me for all of the years he left me. Besides, he's just a friend."

Blake: "And if he wants something more, what then?"

Yang: "But-"

Ruby: "Yang, you can't tell me that you don't like him. I've seen the way you act."

Yang: "I told-" Suddenly we hear a knock at the door. 

(Y/N)'s POV:

The door opened, and Ruby was peaking over the edge. 

Ruby: "Oh, it's you (Y/N)."

(Y/N): "Who else would it be?" I say sarcastically.

Ruby: "I guess your here for Yang, huh? Yang! (Y/N)'s here!" She swings the door open, showing Yang in her attire (outfit in pic).

(Y/N) (blushing): "Y-You-"

Yang: "Yeah, I must look pretty . . . unprepared right?"

(Y/N) (blushing): "N-No. You look really good."

Yang (blushing): "R-Really?"

(Y/N): "Yeah. So, ready to go?" She then takes a hold of my arm.
