Waring: homophobic content
"Why are you getting bullied by those guys?" Said his dad. "It's nothing special. I just don't have many friends, that's all!" The small Korean boy replied. But his dad just gave him the 'don't lie to me stare'. "Ok! It's because of my looks.. and maybe my drawings.." Minseok kept looking down at his tiny feet, too embarrassed to look up at his father. He was scared that the truth would come out. That his father would know what he draws for a hobby because the dark-haired boy knows his dad hates this kind of topic. "So.. what's wrong with your drawings? The ones that hang on our walls are very beautiful. And also your looks? You have good expensive clothing and a pretty face. There is nothing wrong with that." Minsok was asking himself at this point why he had even bothered telling his dad, why did he tell him that he is getting bullied at school. Well, he didn't think that his dad would matter about his condition or the way he feels throughout the day. "Dad I'm in a school only for boys. Look at me... I look so feminine compared to the others." His father took his hand of his laptop. His full attention was now on his only son. What could he say, it was true. His son Minseok was kinda feminine. But his dad loves that about him. He has all the similarities of his mother. The big sparkling eyes, the petite pink flushed plump lips and the small and slim nose. He was like a copy of his so beloved wife. Every time his dad looked at him he saw the face of her. The women of his life. That died in an airplane accident back 16 years ago. Minseok is now 17. One year, he lived only one year with his beautiful mother. He doesn't even remember her presence. Minseok was also involved in the tragic of the plain. But he survived, and the reason behind his survival was that his mother had protected his baby human body with all of her existence. She did everything to protect him, and it was successful. But she didn't care to save her own self. The only thing she cared about was the life of her baby.
Minseok is the only family his father had at this point. Of course, he had his mother his dad and other family members. But he doesn't consider them as a family. His family is only Minseok and his wife, although she isn't with them anymore. Minseok is the most important human in his life. That's why he only wants him to make good decisions, hates it when he makes the bad ones, or even when he does stupid stuff. Minseok's grades are incredibly good, he is very smart for his age, his drawings are just beautiful, and he can play several instruments such as the Piano, the Violin and much more. He loves seeing his son successful. And one day he would want to see him getting married to a beautiful woman, getting kids and seeing the features of Minseok on his grandchildren. He looks so much like his mother that he just wants Minseok to have kids. Seeing the features of her never dying. Of course, he has similarities of his father, but they aren't as strong and noticeable. He is just a beauty, almost doll-like. He hates the fact that his classmates bully him because if his appearance.
"Minseok... You know that you are beautiful." The small boy finally looked up at his father. "Yeah, I know..because I look like mum... But am a boy! I'm to feminine, dad!" His dad pulled him into a hug, his small body falling on the larger one of his father. "Don't talk in that tone about your mother..You're still young my son. You are going to grow up and become a handsome man. " Minseok just nod agents the shoulder of his dad. His dad was caressing the back of his head with love and kindness. "Now tell me... what's wrong with your drawings?" Minseok was still kind of scared of telling him. But he felt so safe at that moment it just came out of his mouth like nothing. "I sometimes draw homosexuals in the art club.." his dad stopped to breathe for seconds. He pulled his son back to face him. "You do what?" Minseok knew that was a bad idea to tell him. His dad was homophobic. A person who finds the love between the same gender inexplicable and miserable. Homosexuals are a complied no go in his opinion. "I-I-I sometimes dr-draw 2 guys or 2 girls that are in love... But most-mostly guys.." - "Why do you draw such disgusting things?!" The dark-haired boy didn't understand the opinion of his dad. Those people aren't disgusting. Just because there share the love with the same sex doesn't make them disgusting or weird. Minseok actually finds does people inspiring and interesting. He wants to support the LGBT+ community because he thinks does humans should be treated like every other person on this planet. But he couldn't tell that his dad. "I-i just like to draw them.." he could see the fire in his father's eyes. "Why?? There is nothing to like about them! Except.. Minseok.. are you gay?" Minseok looked at his father with a shocked expression on his face. Him? Gay? He had never thought about it. But he doesn't especially know. He's still young but he hasn't found someone to love yet. He had never fallen in love with a girl or with a boy before. He doesn't know what it feels like to be in love or to find someone attractive. So he just assumed he was straight. "No am not!" His dad just lets a deep breath of relief out, but still very stressed and disappointed. "No wonder that your classmates bully you because of that. Just stop drawing this disgusting art of love you understand? Those humans are weird and they fall in love with the same gender, that's just wrong! Stop drawing them." Minseok wanted to cry. Why does his dad have to talk so bad about them? He loves the LGBT+ community, they're nothing that his dad told him they were. "Yes, dad I understand.." that was a lie. Minseok didn't want to stress his dad even more by telling him more truths. And at the same time, the petit boy didn't want to understand or believe he thinks his dad told him. He follows a lot of different people with different sexualities on the internet. They're funny and honest all the time. Sexualities don't discriminate the person they really are. He loves the fact that everybody his different, and that everybody has his own way if being normal.
