Mia's P.O.V.
So my best friend that I've known since I was little...works for my high school teacher? I didn't see the signs, I didn't suspect a thing? Did Valerie know?
I thought deeply as I sat strapped to this chair. My wrist were burning from the tight rope.
Why me?

Valerie's P.O.V.
I don't know where my best friend is....I don't know where she is. I'm all alone. By myself, I have no one. Where is MIA?
I walked to school by myself. Mia's been gone for a while now. I've tried to call her and no answer. I've been by her house and her mom hasn't seen her. I've asked people at school about her...she's gone.
Maybe I can ask Lawrence....

*In the hallway
I put on my game face. I've been scared all my life, if Lawrence gives me crap I'm beating his ass. I walked up to him...

"Hey Valerie" he said to me.
"Hey. I have a question..."
"Wassup?"
"....Have you seen Mia? Like... at all?"
He looked at me with a surprised/angry expression.
"Why are you asking me that?" He said
"Well you're one of her bestfriends..I just thought that you would know..."
He stared at me....then looked me up and down with a smirk.
"I know where she is." He said with a sly smile
"You do? For real?"
"Yeah. Meet me after school and I'll show you."
I can't believe it! I'm gonna find my best friend!
"Thank you Lawrence..." I said to him
"No problem" he gave me a wink as he walked away.

When I see Mia...I'm gonna give her a big hug. Then I'm gonna slap her for disappearing.

*Lawrence's P.O.V.
Proud of my work, I rushed immediately down the hallway to tell the boss. My conversation with Valerie surprised me. I didn't know she was gonna give in so easily. She's such a child!
I walked up to Mr. Wright and gave him the signal. He responded with a nod, that means I need to meet him somewhere private..such as the boys bathroom.

*A few moments later

"I have good news." I told him
"What is it?"
" I got another one"
"Hmm. What is her name?"
"It's Valerie...the quiet one"
He nodded his head slowly. He looked satisfied...
"I was hoping you'd get her...good work"
