After my sad discovery I decided to get out of this depressing house and get some fresh air. Once gathering my car keys, wallet, and purse I all but ran out the door. After locking it I simply closed my eyes and take a long breath of fresh air and continued to make my way to my car. I loved her it was a cute light blue Volkswagen beetle her name was Lilly to me she was my best friend always ready when I needed her.
I made my way to drivers side of the car. Finally getting myself settled in. I put my key in ignition and began to embark on my journey to the library. listening to queen's bohemian rhapsody while doing so.I promise you Freddie mercury's voice gives me chills it feels as if his voice finds and caresses your soul that's how you know a song is powerful when it makes you relate to the lyrics and cry by hearing the voice. Another legend gone man what I would give to just go to one of there concerts and see and hear them live .While thinking about what I would do if that were to happen I nearly drove pass the entrance.
After finding a parking space which didn't take long . I made my way up to the entrance of the library . Once stepping into the library doors I was instantly struck with the scent of old books and coffee. I loved that smell to me old books are just lives and experiences told in a earlier time it gives us that knowledge of understanding .Books in general are important whether it be the dictionary or the hamlet. They give us that freedom of imagination, gives us the right to express ourselves in a way we orally cannot, they make you feel,they make you think, it makes you relate, and it opens up your imagination and allows you to explore and be creative. I made my way to the young adult fiction section. I picked out one of my favorite reads called "That was then ,This is now" by S. E Hinton. I love her in general her characters are relatable and the issues they go through aren't full of fluff and uselessness. This book makes me think it makes me understand and it makes me feel. That's how you know the book is good when it makes you feel grief for the characters and allows you to truly think about what they are going through .
