CHAPTER 2️⃣ THE SHADOW

VANESSA'S P.O.V

"What's happening why is it so dark Roni where are you" the last thing I remember is that we were in detention and we fell asleep and now it's so dark and no one is around me I'm scared, "HELLLOOO!!!" I kept on yelling and yelling but no one answered, "PLEASE RONI WHERE ARE YOU, I'M SCARED IS THIS A PRANK!" I said in fear about to cry, until suddenly I felt someone touch me from behind, "who is it!!" I said waiting for an answer, and at that moment something grabbed me by my feet and threw me at the wall like I'm a peace of plastic, "RONIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!" I yelled as hard as I could, landing on my back in so much pain.

"NESSA OMG IT'S OKAY I'M HERE NOW!!" Roni said picking me up and holding me on her back "someone threw me on the wall, where are we Roni what's happening" I asked crying in pain "I don't know but I think we're still in school" she replied in fear "it doesn't seem like it let's get out"I said getting off of her back "nessa we can't get out, I've been looking for a way out for 2 days now, and I was also looking for you and thank god I found you" she said hugging me tight "wait I've been asleep for 2 days"I asked and she nodded "what about our friends where are they" "I don't know but I haven't seen anyone except for you" she said.

ETHAN'S P.O.V

"Wait are we all here now" i said looking at everyone "wait no Roni and nessa there not here" Andrea said worried about them "okay so we're going to need two people to go look for them" I said hoping that someone is going to go, I mean they're girls alone in a haunted school they're probably freaking out right now.

"Okay me and jc are going to go"kian said holding a sharp tool in his hands, I would've done the same honestly. Thy went and the rest of us stayed close to each other, the only thing we could do is look for an exit which is kind of impossible I never knew our school was this big.

KIAN'S P.O.V

I'm not going to lie I'm so scared right now what if something pops up, "kian are you okay" jc asked looking at me in a weird way "we're in a fucking school that is haunted looking for our two friends on summer vacation, yea I'm okay jc" I replied in a sarcastic way "dude calm down we're going to find them, than look for an exit and leave this shitty place" he said trying to calm me down.

After hours of looking we couldn't find them so we decided to go back, "why are you guys back did you find them?" Franny asked looking around to see if they were there, "no we couldn't find them and we looked everywhere" jc said putting his tool down "what if something happened to them" Dominic said in a scared tone, this school is big tho so they could be anywhere but hopefully nothing happened to them.

GABBIE'S P.O.V

Everything that's happening is bullshit, I'm kind of worried tho Dominic is right what if something happened to them, "wait guys did you hear that" I looked at them hoping that someone else heard it, "what is it" franny asked while getting up and taking a tool she was scared it was obvious "there it is again" I swear I was hearing something or could it be my mind playing tricks on me, "gabbie stop, there's nothing" Grayson said but I think he heard it too, "guys it's getting closer" I stood up in fear and they all stood up with me, we took the tools in our hands ready to fight whatever comes out.

"Where is it, where did it go" I looked beside me and I saw a shadow pass "GUYS IT'S THERE" they all looked and Grayson and Ethan got closer to the shadow "we don't want to hurt you, and we don't want to get hurt" Ethan said we all hoped for an answer, but no one answered.

GRAYSON'S P.O.V

Me and Ethan decided to follow the shadow we took the tools and we made fire, I honestly didn't want to do this but that shadow could lead us to an exit "do you think that's a person or......" I asked Ethan hoping he'd understand me "hopefully it is a person because if it's not I don't think there's going to be a way back" I was hoping he'd say something calming and not scary but that's Ethan.

"E I think it's better to stop and rest for a little bit" I was really tired we've been following that stupid shadow for about 4 hours and it lead us to nothing so far, "no if we stop we're going to loose the shadow" he said walking even faster "wait the shadow is getting away faster" I said speed walking "IT'S RUNNING WE HAVE TO FOLLOW IT" Ethan screamed and we started running after it.

VERONICA'S P.O.V

"We have to hide there's someone following us" I said looking at nessa she was really tired "Roni what if it's not someone what if it's..." "shhhhh just stay quite we have to at least hide" I interrupted her before she could say anything, I held her hands and pushed her into a room and I jumped inside with her, I was hoping that the thing that was following us would go away.

"Ouch why did you do that" nessa asked angry about what I just did "shhhh nessa you need to whisper" I said trying to make her quite, I'm pretty sure the thing that was following us was still there but we stayed quite and we hugged each other to sleep.
