Chapter 5

Dahyun's Point of View.

When the sun was about to set we all decided to go back to the hotel. We immediately prepared ourselves and the bonfire. We were told to gather around on the shore to give us our assigned tasks for the preparation of the Bonfire.

While on my way, I tripped myself and almost fell. I closed my eyes because I knew I'd fell but I didn't feel any hard thing in my back. Plus I can still feel that it was as if I'm standing and soft gentle arms were supporting my back.

So I opened my eyes... and then there I saw a handsome looking man. Our faces were close and when we move even an inch, our lips may touch.

I was still admiring the closeup look of his face but when I realized that everybody is looking at us I immediately stood and straighten my posture.

"T-Thanks" I shyly said then I bowed a bit at Jimin. Who seems to be angry! Gosh! Why is he angry? His brows were knitted together and he is frowning.

He ignored my thanks, then he lay his one knee down. I was startled that I even took small steps backward but he instantly stopped my feet by holding them.

Why is he kneeling in front of me? My heart beats again insanely fast because of the confusion and nervousness that I am feeling.

But I started to calm down a bit when I saw him started tying up my laces.

"Be careful next time" he said in a cold and mad way then he walks away from me. I stared at his back walking away.

I started to feel bothered about his acts. He was cold and mad. Is he mad at me? Why?

"Dahyun, are you okay?" Tzuyu and Chaeyoung asked, that made my eyes took off of him. I nodded at them as my answer. They pat my shoulder. Tzuyu in my left side and Chaeyoung in my right side.

"Let's go" Chae whispered. But I still stood there, thinking about the reasons why he's mad.

"Dahyun!" Jungyeon shouted that made me move.

"You don't need to shout you know," I said then I helped her. All the Twice members were assigned to prepare the snacks for the bonfire. While the Bangtan was assigned for the woods needed.

Jimin's Point of View

"Hyung" Taehyung called. I turned around and looked at him, waiting for him to continue. And seconds after he did. "Thank you" He paused "for catching Dahyun," Taehyung said while getting wood sticks.

"Why are you thanking me for that?"  I asked, confused. Do people normally do that? Thank someone for catching another person? I'm curious why would Tae thank me for catching her a while ago.

I do have a slight idea but I didn't like the thought so I shrugged it off.

"Dahyun is my best friend so thank you and please.... take care of her" Tae said then left me after. I get the thanks but why the "take care of her"? Seriously, that's weird.

Then I thought Dahyun is really special, knowing that her members love her so as my other members.

"Jimin-ah" Sana called me when we were nearing the place for our bonfire.

"You need anything?" I asked straightly. I don't really like much on communicating recently.

"Take care of Dahyun will you?" she said but no she sounds more like pleading. "Don't let someone hurt her, even yourself, or else I and Twice will hurt you," Sana threatened then left me here, stunned.

Aish, seriously, why they are telling me this?

I decided to go where the others already are and when the bonfire starts I only saw one more spot to sit and that is beside her.

Lucky me.

Dahyun's POV

I was shocked when Jimin sat beside me. I did kinda gush but when I looked around. I felt stupid. Stupid! Dahyun can't you see that it is the only spot left to sit on. But Nonetheless, I am still happy that he sat beside me.

It was so silent between us. One word. Awkward.

But the other side of my mind keeps telling me that.

Go! this is your chance, talk to him!

"Jimin..." I called his name.

"Oh.." He said, astounded. "Dahyun.." its like he doesn't even know that he was sitting beside me!

I shook my head because i dont even know what to say! Why did I even call him?

"Spill it," he said as if irritated but his face was still gentle "I know you have something to say" he stated.

"Nothing, really" I mumbled

Argh! Dahyun stupid! stupid! Why even talk, when you got no topic? Stupid! "Here, Dahyun," he said after a minute of silence then handed me a sausage. Even though, I was busy, saying mean words to myself. I took his offer, nonchalantly.

The Bonfire was filled with jammings, food, music, and chats. It was fun. The BTS was fun to be with actually. They are exceptionally jolly and had high energy.

When the bonfire ended, I helped in cleaning up then after went to my room. I cleaned myself and prepared for bedtime.

But hours later...

"Argh!" Irritated. "Why can't I sleep?" I irritably said to myself. I saw the clock at the bedside table and its already midnight.

I took my jacket with me and then I decided to walk in the shore. The breeze was blowing my hair and touching my skin. So cold. I crossed my arms and rubbed my hand to it so that it would be a little warm.

I was enjoying the sound of the wind blowing so tough and the wild waves crashing into the shore when...

"Why are you here late at night?" I turned my head sideways to see who is talking.

Jimin...

"I should ask you the same question too you know," I said but he just continued walking towards me.

"Just answer it" he coldly said.

"I can't sleep" I answered and continued walking.

"You?" I asked back

"Same" I started to walk slowly when I noticed that Jimin slightly can't catch up.

"Jimin..." I called out. I don't even know if I should ask this. I mean who am I to him to ask? but argh! "A-Are you still in hurt?" I asked. There I said it!

"What?" he stopped walking so I also did. He looked into my eyes. 

"I said are you still in hurt?" I said, slightly irritated. I've gathered my courage to ask that the first time and here he is making me repeat it when I clearly said it.

Tch. Handsome but deaf.

"No" he hung back "Not anymore" he answered while directly and straightly staring at me.

"Good for you, then" I look into his eyes to check if he is really okay just like what he said and I can see he is. There is no hint of pretending and covering up.

"Not anymore because I'm happy...because of you."
