When you stop caring
When you reach a point where you just stop caring
Stop caring and stop feeling
No emotion ,no attachment
No pain ,no gain
Just a big gap inside
And nothing to fill it
Because you let go
Let go of what was to be held on to
And held on to what didn't fill;
Air
The air that never held you
That couldn't fill you
Didn't make you feel
Couldn't make you care
And care is what is forgotten
When things were to be kept memoire
Slowly time left you
Because you couldn't care
Enough
Time, that was water ,
And water, that could that could flow
It could flow
It could make you wet
Keep you dry
Dry of any emotions
Water flows from your eyes
Makes them wet ,yet keeps them dry
And amidst all the wiping and weeping,
You forgot you were thirsty
Forgot you needed to be filled
But what is enemy when the friend was no friend
And so my dear;dearest ,
You leave the gap open
For someone to see through
For someone to remember what you long had forgotten
For someone to care
Someone to hold you
For someone to fill in
And make you fit in
This world that makes no sense
To you
And can make no sense of you
And things had long stopped making sense
But no-one ever comes
To help add sense
Because my dear;dearest
You never let anyone
You've built up the walls so highBut through these years
Of feeling nothing
And caring no more
So many years of taking the stairs,
There is a lesson you've learnt;
Climbing is the harder part:
Falling down is where you story starts.
