LOST GIRL

CHAPTER 4:

                      NEW BOYFRIEND
3 YEARS LATER..............................
Mia was walking down the sunny street and she was holding someone's hand. Maybe they were friends. Nope, she kissed him and he said "I LOVE YOU" . "I love you, too" Mia said. He was her new boyfriend. Mia's parents were on the porch watching her and her boyfriend, Jake. "I know that you are trying to hide your ex's actions from me because you want to be happy. Remember that I love you and always will and i'm not just saying that. I know Mark said that, too so I am going to show it to you." Jake said. The cute couple was 21 years old. Jake put his hand around Mia and kissed her. They walked to stores and enjoyed themselves. Taylor, Mia's mom was sitting on her porch in her favorite, comfy chair. "I am so proud of her. All that she has been through and she still hasn't given up on loving." She said to herself. Mia and Jake were half way to their sixth store when something weird happened. "Wait is that Mark??!!!" Jake asked. Mia turned to see him behind her, waving. "Can I please have a moment with my girl?!" Mark asked. Mia was mad. Jake was over the top. "Listen to me, that is MY girlfriend and you hurt her, so I can get her. You had your chance and blew it, so now she's mine." Jake said, with his forehead on Mark's forehead. "Guys stop! At least for my birthday!!!" Mia said. "Come on baby. We have a lot to do and you have plenty more SURPRISES!!" Jake said while holding her below her waist and they started kissing, right in front of Mark. they walked off and Jake turned around and smiled at Mark to shoot him a bird. Mia was laughing because of something Jake said. Mark thought that she was laughing at him, but she wasn't. They walked across the street and Jake gave Mia a kiss and went into a big brown house and said he would be right back. Mark saw her waiting outside and thought to himself, this is my chance to get her. He ran across the street for her to see him and he was right in front of her. "What do you want??!!!" Mia asked. "I want you!!!" Mark said. "Well I am already taken, so you have to get lost!" Mia said. Mark was so upset that he couldn't take it anymore and decided to slap Mia. Mia started crying and kicked him in his soft spot.  "The old Mia is gone, i'm the new Mia!!" She said after slapping him. He ran across the street in time because Jake was coming out of the house. "Hey!!! What is that Mark on your face???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Jake yelled. "It's nothing." Mia said. Who did this to you??!!" Jake asked. "Mark did it, but I got him back by kicking him and punching him!!" Mia said while trying to keep Jake from crossing the street. "Are you out of your mind??!!!"Mia asked. "No. I am for you though!!!" Jake said. Mia slapped him and had a talk with him. Surprised, Jake calmed down and got a hold of himself after Mia had told him to. "We are going to enjoy ourselves today!" She said. "After all, it is my BIRTHDAY!!!" she said happily. "Okay okay okay!! I'm not gonna let some other guy ruin my girlfriend's birthday!!!" Jake said. The couple continued their never lasting walk through the whole town. Oh!!! And did I mention that the rest of Mia's family moved to Los Angeles with her and her boyfriend?? Yep and that is the reason why they are in Chicago right now. They just needed a break from all of the packing and crowding things.

AFTER THE WALKS...HER SECOND SURPRISE
"Keep your eyes closed and don't you open them until I say so. Because if you do, we are turning around and then you won't get your surprises." Jake said. They walked to an empty parking lot  and stopped right in front of a beautiful, shiny Mais Mustafa. That is a name for a beautiful car. "Open your eyes!!!" Jake said. Mia opened her eyes in excitement. "OMG!!# Is this mine??!!!?? No way!! Oh my god thank you thank you thank you!!!!" Mia said while jumping into Jake's arms and crying. "It's yours baby! And you can drive it anywhere you want whenever you want!!!" Jake said. Mia and Jake kissed for about twenty minutes before getting into the fabulous car with Mia driving them away, back to her parent's now old house. "Oh my god!!! Is that Mia and Jake??!!??" Taylor asked. "Yes!! He got her a car for her birthday!!!" Michael said. Taylor and Michael hugged and Taylor gave him a quick kiss. "Are you guys gonna load up or just sit there??!!!" Mia asked. Jake got out of the car to help her parents load up some of the bags in her car and her father's truck. "I think we are done!!!"Jake said. Taylor and Michael got into his truck and Jake got back into the car with Mia. They drove off first and then her parents pulled off behind them. Mia stopped at a store while her parents were headed straight to the interstate. Mia took the blue, bedazzled, and glittered key out of the ignition. When she was getting ready to get out of the car, Jake grabbed her arm. "You be careful just in case that bastard is in there! You know what? I will go with you!" Jake said. "No, I have pepper spray and a shocking device!" Mia said. She then got out of the car and entered the store. Jake was worried and she knew it. While in line with her snacks and candy, she felt a light hand touch her on her shoulder. When she turned around, she saw Mark and he was looking as if he just got beaten up. 
"Mark..." Mia said. "Stop it!!! I didn't come here to cause any of trouble. I just wanted to apologize for everything I've done to you and what you have been through, not to mention that I thank you for putting up with me." Mark said. Mia's heart was getting warm. Was she about to fall in love with him... AGAIN????!! No!! She knew better than that. It was just that she was still in love with him and she hated it, but she couldn't change it. Mia was at the register and putting her things in her bag when she looked out the store window. She gasped in surprise. "Oh my god!!!!" Mia said. She quickly grabbed all of her things and ran out of the store. When she got out there, she saw Mark on the ground with Jake on top of him. "Jake,what are you doing??!!! Get off of him right now!!!!!!!" Mia yelled. "No!! I told you that he might be in there and you didn't listen, so I handled it for you!" Jake said. When Jake decided to get off of him, Mark was all bloody and unconscious. Mia quickly pushed Jake out of the way and helped Mark into her car and closed the door before locking it. "Where are you going with him??!!" Jake asked. "I'm going to the hospital!!!" Mia said. "After all he put you through??!" Jake asked. "You know what? You act like you haven't done anything wrong so lets put you in your place. You are the one that was cheating too. You thought I didn't know, so you broke up with her but I knew. And I am tired of you thinking you are the best with no flaws. Well, congratulations because we are no longer dating!!!" Mia said. She got into her car, put on her seatbelt and drove off.
