I was in The Hall way of the DWMA. In a chair. My cut from the Kishin was Patched up. But it kills sometimes. And by that i mean it hurts every now and then.
I sighed. A hand was put on my shoulder i looked up. Maka was there. I smiled.
"How's Lizzy?" Maka Asked. I shrugged. "I dont know yet. I hope she's okay." I sighed.
"How about you? are you okay?" She aked. I knew she was talking about the cut on my arm. I nodded.
"Yeah Im okay. it dosnt hurt that much." I weakly smiled. She smiled back ."Well thats good. I hope she gets better soon." 'Hope Can be a strong word', I thought. Stine came out. I stood up.
"She's fine. she's just unconsist for now." He said.
"Can i see her?" I asked. He started walking away. I heard him Laugh quietly.
"Knock your self out." I looked at maka. She looked at me and shruged. "Umm Okay. Thank you Stine." I said walking into the room. Maka walked in after me.
"I dont trust stine" i said quietly. She sighed. "He's a nice man every now and then." She said. I nodded. I got to Lizzy's bed. Fighting back some tears.
"Why did this happen? Why counldnt this have been me? IThis should have been me. All Of this should have been me. i should be in this bed! Not lizzy." I thought. My arm started hurting again. I held it,
"You okay?" Maka asked. I nodded. Tears threating. I turned around and ran out into the hallway. I sighed falling to my knees. A shadow fell over me. I looked up. Soul was standing there. He held out his hand. I took it and he pulled me up.
"T-thank you..." I whispered walking off. I kept looking down. Not wanting to face my peers. I couldnt. As soon as i got out of the DWMA i made a run to my home. Tears Coming down my face like a water fall. I wanted it to stop. But it just kept coming. Non-stop.
It felt good, But it also felt wrong. so,so wrong. The tears were warm. I whiped some way. I got into the house, i opened the door then shut it as fast as i got in. Alexis stoped me.
"Lexi Let me go please." i muttered. She sighed. She sighed.
"How was she?" She asked i hugged her. "Why her lex why?" I asked. "That should be me. not her." i whispered. she patted my back.
"Im going to the DWMA okay, I'll be back soon. Just Sleep, you need some." she said. she walked out the door. i slowly walked up to my room. I closed my door and flopped onto my bed. I closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep.
~In Dream~
Everything around me was warm. Very Very warm.Almost as if, A fire was happening. I felt my skin burn. Then insane laughter. I opened one of my eyes. Yup fire.
I tried running out of my room. But the door nob burned my hand a bit.
"Ouch." I whispered. I heard screaming which made me jump. I turned around.
"Hay-San!" "Nii-San!!!!" My sisters were yelling for me. I ran to them. Then everything went black. No one was there.
"Hello?" i yelled. "Anyone there?" I asked. Laughter. But this time louder.I walked around. A little girl was sitting in a field crying. she looked so familer. I walked closer. My eyes widened. The little girl was me.
Crying.
~end of dream~
I woke up. I was sweating. I looked around my room. Dark. I looked at my clock that was glowing blue.
6:00 AM
I sighed. "I really slept for a long time this time." i whispered. I pulled my self out of my bed. Into my bathroom. i took a shower. got out Put Jeans, Shirt, shoes. I did my hair. I walked down stairs. No one was there.
"Must have gone to check Lizzy." I whispered. I walked into the kichen. I heard something fall. i walked out and walked torwords the sound.
Corona was standing there.
"Corona?" I whispered. He jumped. "H-haylee! you scared me!"
"You scared me." I laughed. "Why you here?" I asked. he looked away.
"I uhhh umm h-heard Lizzy was hurt. i thought she was back.. but i guess not... I only came to wish h-her, I came to say i hope she gets better." He blushed. I giggled. As usual. Cousin Carona Being his shy self. I smiled.
"Okay" I tilted my head. Then I narrowed my eyebrows. "why didnt you check the Nurses for Lizzy though?" i asked. He stared at me dumbstruck. "Ummmmmmmm I d-d-d-didn't know... i-i thought she was already here."
I shrugged. "Okay then...."
"Please do tell her o hope she gets better." He said before running off.
"Okay! see you later?"
I thought for a second. "Hope. Huh? Its such a strong word."
