The Goth And The Jock

Chapter 3

                     ** Octavia's POV**
I walk back to where I was dancing before and luckily, Micah isn't there. I start dancing and I feel strong hands in my waist, swaying with me. I shiver from the hot breath fanning over my neck.

"You okay Love?" Micah whispers into my ear.

"Get. Off. Of. Me" I say my breath catching in my throat as I speak. How did he get over here so quickly? I think to myself. His sent wraps itself around me, covering me in a sense of protection.

"Whatever you say Love." Micah says walking away from me and I instantly miss his touch.

I hunt down Penny, wanting to go home. I search all over and find her after twenty minutes of shoving past drunken teenagers.

"Penny I want to go home." I say gripping onto her arm to steady myself.

"Whatever you want doll, but I'm calling Star when we get back to your place cause I can't stay...and I know how you are when you're drunk." Pen says getting out her phone so then she can call an Uber. I nodd and walk over to the front door, stumbling as I walk.

"Fuck these shoes." I say gripping the wall for support to take off my heels. Penny catches up with me as i finish taking my shoes off and we both walk outside.

"If we had to take a sobriety test right now, we would fail hard." Pen says walking towards the Uber. 

"I know." I say opening the car door and climbing inside moving over for Penny. Penny climbs in and pulls out her phone.

"What about your car?" I ask as she starts scrolling through Twitter.

"Ill get in in the morning." She says locking her phone and putting it back into her clutch.

I turn my head and look out the window as we continue to drive back to my place.

We paid the Uber driver and I fumbled to get my keys out of Penny's bag but I eventually got them. I unlock the door and throw my shoes up to my loft hoping that I didn't break anything.

"I'm going to call Star" Pen says walking into my living room. I nod and stumble over to the kitchen to get some water. I grab a glass and fill it with water, as I am mid drink Penny walking into the kitchen locking her phone.

"Star said that she will be here in twenty minutes." Pen says grabbing a glass and also filling it with water. I nod and put my glass down.

"I'm going to take a shower and change. Ill also bring down your bag that you brought over" I say trekking my way up the stairs.

I walk over to my dresser and open the bottom drawer. I pull out a pair of jogging bottoms and a random tank top. I walk into my bathroom and strip out of my dress and take my hair down. I take off my necklace and take out my earrings putting them gently on the counter.

I turn the water on to almost scalding and step inside. I bow my head letting the water warm up my skin. I grab my shampoo and conditioner and start wash my long hair for a good while.

I step out of the shower after washing my body and turning the water off. I grab a fluffy lilac towel to wrap my self in. I grab another towel to wrap my hair up with. I take a makeup remover wipe and take all of my makeup off easily.

After I change into my pajamas I hear the front door open. I slip on some socks and walk down the stairs carefully, and walk into the kitchen to retrieve my water glass.

I see my other best friend Star Dunlap, standing in the kitchen talking with Pen. Pen is super short compared to me and Star. I'm a whopping 5'11 and Star is 5'9, Pen on the other hand is 5'1. Star has short black hair, just stopping below her ears. She also has a lot of piercings like me.

"Shooting Star." I say walking over to Star with my arms outstretched.

"Tavia. Its been awhile." Star says giving me a hug. I nod.

"Crap I forgot to get your bag Pen, ill be right back I say dashing up the stairs to get her cream colored bag.

I walk back downstairs and give Penny her bag.

"I've got to get going home, ill text you when I get home okay Tavi." Pen says taking her bag and giving me a hug after she gives Star a hug.

"Got it." I say walking her outside with Star behind me.

"Bye Loves!" Penny says after climbing into the Uber that she called, I'm guessing when I was in my shower.

"So, I heard that one, you got hammered and two, that Micah fucking Keller almost kissed you." Star says closing the door after Penny leaves.

"Yeah that all happened." I say walking into the kitchen to refill my water glass.

"We came talk about that later but now lets just chill and watch some Netflix, okay?" Star says grabbing a glass of water.

"Okay." I say walking to my living room and plopping down on the plush grey couch and turning on my Roku box.

"What do you want to watch?" I say opening my Netflix page.

"American Horror Story?" Star says looking at me with pleading eyes.

"Hell yeah I'm soo behind and season seven is coming out soon." I say scrolling through all the unfinished shows I'm watching.

I am doing good on updating so far! I am proud of myself! Okay back on track, my good friend @bleach_queen suggested that I do a character drive so then your characters can be back ground characters or important ones. I added her character, Star Dunlap and I personally like Star. I might just keep her around. So if you want me to add your characters, comment down below their, first and last name, hair color, eye color, height, if they look a certain way ex- goth, preppy, emo, nerdy, etc, and if they have any relations to a main character. I would really appreciate this because I tend to make characters all the same and I don't get to have readers involved with my storues that often.
