Darkness. Complete and utter darkness. That's the only thing I see, even when I try to strain to see what's in the distance. A man stepped out of the blackness and walked toward me. "Are you God?" I asked. "Am I dead? Is this heaven?" I wanted to explode with questions. "I am the man who gave you those skills." I was shocked. "So you gave me skills to break people's wrist and kill people with poles? Yeah, I definitely want that." He kept his composure and stared back. "You were chosen, Jase. You were the person that the council wanted. I'm just here to give you the rest of your abilities." "The council? Abilities? You have to be fu.." I was cut off by his British accent. "I will grant you these powers and you will wake up exactly 10 minutes after you last died. Your mind should kick in to gear, fresh with the abilities in it. Everything will feel like it took over your body, but you will gain control after 5 minutes. Good luck!" He was walking toward me with an E.T looking hand shape. "Wait, what if I don't want to do this? You don't have my consent! Somebody help! Please! Hel..." I was touched by him and I woke up with my hands sagging by my side, the pole sticking out of my stomach.
