Falling for the jerk

Chapter 1

My first day.

"Don't panic Go Eun Byul. You'll be fine." I take a deep breath and walk towards my new school. I head to my classroom 10-A and finally arrived after being lost several times. I was surprised to see that the class had already begun.

 I look at my watch to check the time, surprised to see that I'm 15 minutes late. Wow it's gonna be really awkward and embarrassing walking into class late- especially when I'm new. I'm an introvert so of course I'm bad at socialising and talking to people. That's why I was so frustrated that I had to move because of my dad's job. So much for first impressions.

"Oh! You are the new student aren't you? I'm Mr Kang. Alright settle down class, we have a new student. Her name is Go Eun Byul. Come in and introduce yourself."

Oh no. I'm bad at speaking. Especially in front of people. I shyly walk in and look at the classroom feeling the anxiety rise. 

"Uh...Um...I..My name...is...uh..."

"Feeling a bit nervous there Eun Byul? That's OK I already told everyone your name. Now there's only one seat left in the classroom so you can sit over there."

I realised that there were two seats empty at the back next to each other and I was confused why he said that there was only one seat available. I wasn't sure where where he was pointing to I just took the back corner window seat.

I was concentrating on the lesson when I suddenly see the door open and a boy walks into the classroom.

"Kim Taehyung you're late again? I'll have to see you in detention then." says My Kang.

He walks towards me and I start to feel anxious.

"You're in my seat. Get out."

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't-"

"I SAID GET OUT!"

I quickly move my things to the next seat and felt all the stares one me. I felt like crying. "That's not nice Taehyung, she's a new student and you should have no reason to raise your-"

"I don't care" The teacher looked angry at him. "Come see me after class."

The class ended and it was time for break. Everyone was going to their friends and happily chatting away.  I didn't have any friends and felt out of place so I decided to look around the school to pass time. I walk up the stairs to the top floor and go to the roof. There was no one there. Perfect. No people. Peace and quiet.

I walk ahead to look at the view from the roof. I see all the my happy classmates eating and laughing with each other and it made me feel sad that I used to have friends like that until I moved to this stupid school. Suddenly a thought of that boy came to my head.

"Wow he's such a jerk. How can he be that rude when I just arrived and he doesn't even know me? What a pathetic loser. That...that...Kim Taehyung." 

"Did you just say I'm a pathetic loser?" 

I turn around to see Kim Taehyung only a few centimetres behind me.
