Closed Eyes, Open Minds

After everything that has happened, hindi ko alam kung paano bumangon muli. I was in deep torment. I lost so many precious people, but there's still one person I'm holding onto.

"Mamon!" Tumakbo siya at niyakap ako ng mahigpit. I missed him so much. Ibinalik ko ang yakap na mahigpit sakaniya.

Sa lahat ng tao alam ko siya ang pinaka nakakaintindi sakin ngayon.

We light up our sparklers and raised them. Napatingin ako sa langit at napangiti. I will begin anew, thanks for all the memories.

Napatingin ako sakaniya at nakitang nakatitig siya sakin. He slowly gets closer and suddenly he's kissing me softly under the northern lights. Sa buong magkakaibigan, kaming dalawa ang pinaka immature, but because of our struggles we became stronger and wiser.

Now we're here and ready to face all the world's tragedy and clarity. With closed eyes to feel more, and open minds to understand more.
