this is one of my favorite lines in this song because of how poetic it sounds, it gives me chills ?! no but really to me they symbolize really wanting to go redo something ( or someone lol ) you'd trade your tomorrow's for just one yesterday; i regret some things I've done in the past and it just makes me angry/sad thinking about those past memories, it could be anything from yelling at my mom for something so idiotic or just not giving your all in that math test, that's why make sure you think before you do.
