Mayella had been my best friend silence the 3rd grade ever since she stood up for me and beat the crap out of the asshole that stole my animal crackers......a.k.a her twin brother. "This is your going away party that's why you have to go!" Mayella's voice woke me from my daze. "I am only gonna be gone for like 2 years I will be back for Senior year." "A lot can change in two years." "I know but we will still be friends I promise you that!" That's when I hugged her."your leavening?!" I knew that voice instantly it was Ryder, Mayella's twin brother. " yup" I said popping the 'p'. I say not knowing why he cared. "Oh, where are you going?" "London" " wow London that's far away from little old Florsville isn't it?" (Florseville is a town in South Texas not to far from San Antonino) " yeah" is all I can muster up. " well see you soon" and that's how Ryder left and it was the last time I would see him in two years. " He is soooo in love with you it's disgusting I mean you are beautiful it's just you are my BFF and he's my brother." Mayella's words shock me I mean him in love with me? I mean have red hair cut into a long bob and way to many freckles not to mention I am tall and lanky with no curves. It's more like I'm in lo.......... I can't even finish that thought because Mayella's mom said my parents are here to get me. " I'll miss you! Bye for now!"
