Chapter 7

I woke up at about noon and everyone was up now. Greeeaaatt. Well might as well go downstairs. Jane walked up to me as soon as I got downstairs. "Alright we need to go shopping." She said with a serious tone "Why?" I wanted to go, but why was it so important? "Slender is throwing a party for trendermans birthday, which means we need to look as nice as possible because he usually throws a ball for their birthday. I dont know why dont ask." She said already dragging me outside because I had my converse on already. "Slender doesn't let us go without permission." I said not feeling like getting in trouble with slender. "I already asked sleepyhead." She laughed. I actually woke up before her but then fell asleep again but i just laughed with her.

"So what are his party's usually like?" I wondered so I didn't look too out of place. "Well your going to want a short dress, not skin tight, but not that poofy either." We. Walked into a dress store and Jane almost threw up because she's THAT picky, but honestly the dresses in there were trash.

We walked into about 15 more stores and couldn't find ANYTHING. It was so annoying. We were at the last places that had dresses in the mall. We looked around and guess what. Nothing even remotely cute, UGH. We walked out of the mall and walked around the city we were in.

Walking past a store I seen a bunch of dresses that weren't that ugly. "Wanna try it?" I asked jane. She shrugged and walked in. She found the cutest purple strapless dress and I was so jealous. We sorta stole the dress and started walking again.

Seeing a hair dresser place, we walked in and they did our hair, let me tell you. I was VERY impressed. We looked gorgeous, even with the makeup they put on me. Running out of the place before they charged us anything.

A few hours later I found a gorgeous teal, strapless dress with white heals, even tho I wanted teal and grey converse, but Jane was going to kill  if I did, some jewelery​, and I even got my ears pierced in a couple different places on my ears.

When we got home I brought everything to my room and hung it all up waiting for tomorrow.

I heard someone walk in, I turned and seen it was just Toby. "Sup waffles." I smirked at my little nickname. "Hey (n/n), whats all that?" He said and flopped on my bed. "Its for slenders ball thing tomorrow." I said with a 'duh' kind of voice. "Oh yeah. I should probably hang up my suit." I rolled my eyes and did it for him. Noticing he had a teal tie, awe we are gonna match. "Hey (n/n) ya wanna go with me?" He said all casual but was nervous at the same time. "Ya we're matching anyway." I said accepting his invite as my date. "So going as friends?" He asked "I thought I was going as your date but alright." I said almost a little disappointed. "NO No no. I can go as your date." He immediately takes back. I smirked and kissed his cheek "your my date then." I said and walked in the living room. OMG WHAT JUST HAPPENED. Why did I do that?! He's my best friend and now my date?! Why was I so calm about it?! Questions in my head raced around, then I thought of something. Jeff's gonna be PISSED. Oops.

*the next day*
It was time for the ball. My hair thing from yesterday was still in my hair and it still looked perfect. I did my nails and stuff, then slipped on my dress, heals and jewelry.

I knocked on Jane's door after I finished, and she opened the door all dressed too. "So who's your date Janey?" I asked her she mumbled something "hm?" "Jeff" she said a little louder. My jaw dropped. "Really?!" She nodded her head yes. I gave her a hug and laughed "This is gonna be great." I said "So who are you going with (n/n)?" she asked "Toby." I said casually. "Isn't he like your best friend?" She asked. "Ya." "Then are you two going as friends?" "Nope he's my date." I said smiling. "Someone has a crush." I hit her shoulder playfully. I did have a MAJOR crush on Toby if I'm being honest though. "Your blushing!" She yelled laughing "Am not!" I yelled back laughing as well.

There was a knock at her door. I opened it and Jeff and Toby were there. I gave Jeff a hug because he's my brother. "You look amazing (y/n)." Jeff said while still hugging me. I walked over to Toby and hooked arms with him. He lead me to the ball room, "you do look gorgeous (y/n)" I smiled and looked at him "you look very handsome Toby."

He smiled at me and we both took a shot or two and got on the dance floor. A slow song came on and he immediately grabbed my waist and my hand, while I grabbed his hand and wrapped my arm around his neck, making us get closer, as I rested my chin on his shoulder after the song, trendermans blew out his candles and me and Toby sat outside on the roof looking at the stars. "You know you're my best friend right." Toby said to me. "Of course I do."I said smiling at him "which means you will never hate me right?" He asked "I could never hate you Toby." I told him. He looked at me and caressed my cheek. All I could do was stare into his eyes. Was he going to kiss me???? He pulled my face to him and leaned forward kissing me. I didn't kiss back not know what to do. I pulled back and looked down. I immediately pulled his face to mine and I kissed him, he kissed back and we both pulled back. We laid down and sat in silence not knowing what to say.
